Liverpool team to face Tottenham: Mignolet, Manquillo, Moreno, Lovren, Sakho, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge, Balotelli.

Spurs XI unchanged from QPR game.

From a friend at the Lane:

"Can confirm balotelli managed to get his bib on. Also put pretty much every practise shot in the corner from 18-20 yards. Keeper just got to one, not near rest"

He always scores against us. He is also due a red card against us after his disgraceful stamp at the Etihad. Paddy Power is offering 5/1 that one of those happens if you open up a new account. Cheesy

Really good going forward today still look at little ropey at cb some
Miscommunication between them, ballotelli did well on his first appearance should have scored a couple needs to keep up his workrate and effort every game.Thought sterling was fantastic and Moreno was very impressive today could have 4 or 5 like last season.

Moreno's goal was top-drawer.

Sterling is getting better and better.  Shame he fluffed his lines after his "Barnes-esque" dribble in the area, and then inexplicably passed the ball to Lloris instead of burying it.  Sturridge had a good game, and has much more success and looks happier when playing as a two up top.  Balotelli worked hard, too hard at times, and once he gets his first goal I think he'll settle down a bit.

Centre-back pairing was ropey at times, but they also made some good recovery challenges.  Lovren will be an excellent leader at the back for years to come at Liverpool I reckon.  Sakho however seems to have regressed, and hopefully he can sort himself out and quickly.

Next step to get to a position where we eradicate these.

Great response from Monday though. 6/9 with city away done. Cant argue.

Mario on another day could have scored 3....

Frightens the life out of me whenever he attempts a pass.

We're about as good as Spurs without Suarez IMO.

I reckon we can finish in the top 7 this season.

Early days of course, but this is an interesting chart to show where teams are compared to their results in the same matches last season:
