Lol at all the comments about torres loving the club.
He would leave if you don't get into the CL. Don't kid yourselves.

This is only repeating what Carragher said on the night, when Rafa was too busy trying to blame the ref.

Ryan Babel's future at Liverpool has been placed in further doubt after the Dutchman claimed he had been dropped for Saturday's game at Stoke.
The former Ajax ace has claimed on his Twitter account that he has been left out of the travelling squad for the trip to the Britannia Stadium without any explanation.

Oh dear, my 'source' reckons this is the starting XI against Stoke...
Pepe Carra - Skrtel - Kyriakos - Agger Maxi - Lucas - Mascherano - Aurelio Kuyt

Why does Torres want to stay at liverpool so much ?
He seems like a very 'honest' footballer for want of a better word but I can't think of how his career is advantaged in any way by staying there
He's a huge Liverpool fan, he's settled there and he loves the club and the city. Pretty honest imo. I thought he was a boyhood Athletico Madrid fan. He left them, so i don't see how he wouldn't think twice about leaving Liverpool if he thought they were holding back his career. He stayed there for how many years without CL football? He's come to Liverpool, is adored by the fans, seems to love the place - so can't see him leaving for a good few years. Was worried that if Rafa left he'd be more inclined to leave, but thinking about it any manager who comes in is going to play him every game (when he's fit). Oh and we desperately need Aurelio back to give Insua a break. His performances have gone backwards, and it can't be helping his development. Didn't torres only leave athletico as the wanted him to go as they needed the money, pretty sure he took a paycut going to liverpool as well

Do you think Gerrard/Torres will leave you/be forced to leave when you don't come in the top four this season ?

He left them, so i don't see how he wouldn't think twice about leaving Liverpool if he thought they were holding back his career. He is. But he's also a huge Liverpool fan as are all of his close friends in Spain. He turned down several other clubs (including Man Utd the season before he came to us) to play for the team he wanted to on less money. So it doesn't really stand up that he'll leave after one bad season imo when he stayed at Atletico without any sort of European football for years.

They tried to get him to go elsewhere as there were higher offers than ours but he basically said "Liverpool or nowhere".

108 say dont sack him 73 say do, so far on the LFC forum.
A loss to Stoke would put him very close. A loss to Spurs would be the bullet.
This finished slightly more in favour of Rafa. Was almost exactly 2:1.
