Oh dear, my 'source' reckons this is the starting XI against Stoke...

Pepe
Carra - Skrtel - Kyriakos - Agger
Maxi - Lucas - Mascherano - Aurelio
Kuyt

!!!!!

ffs Rafa, at least play 11

That's not a bad side, should be enough to beat Stoke who have been terrible the last 9/10 weeks and only got a win against a Fulham side that never turned up for the first half but still nearly managed to f it up.

I assume Babel being left out means he could be on his way, although with Torres,Gerrard and Benayoun out I don't know why he insists on trying to force him out.The side would be much more of a threat with Kyriakos removed,Agger moved inside,Aurelio moved to LB and Babel playing on the left.Although Rafa is probably playing Kyriakos just because it is Stoke away.

Four centre-backs seems a bit excessive to me though. I know Stole pose an aerial threat, but come on.

I love Kuyt to bits, but playing him as a sole striker with 5 in the middle also seems very strange, unless Maxi/Aquilani is going to play just off him?

As Aaron said, all 3 points today otherwise the pressure will be on Rafa to resign, and Spurs could be the vital game, and obviously important for both sides - but more so Liverpool imo.

If Rafa, get sacked/resigns before the end of the season? What then, who will Liverpool go for? Wouldn't they be better waiting for the summer and then tracking down a top manager.
