Torres had a baby this week? Well he certainly had an abortion in front of goal today. That chance when he was clean through to make it 2-1 and only had the keeper to beat was badly fluffed. Lucas dropping off and inviting Carroll to shoot rather than closing his man down was piss poor. Both those players made horrendous errors which cost Liverpool the game. Hodgson didn't make any horrendous errors which cost Liverpool the game.

Are you having Hodgson's baby?

What tactical insight. Unfortunately it ignores being set up to surrender a large amount of possession away from home, awful substitutions or lack there of and tactical naïveté once the game was underway.

I can just see Benitez waddling into Inter with his my way or the highway attitude and ruffling feathers from the off. Especially after Mourinho. No surprise the guy says he needs like 5 players (prob Spanish ones) to strengthen the treble winners.

I get that you don't rate him - but why such a hater? (Although tbf the waddling is about the most factual thing you have said on this thread)

Mantis will be delighted if it happens

John Aldridge was a great player, but he doesn't half talk some nonsense.

Take last year out of the equation (when Rafa had to sell players he didn't want to sell and was then denied promised funds to buy new players) where were Liverpool in the league?

MON is definitely not the answer.  I really don't understand why people think he is?

Nah, he's ok. Abrasive and manipulative and doomed to failure after Mouriho love, but ok. I'm not really a Hodgson fan either but think the guy deserves a proper chance in the job. MON is clearly the answer. For Liverpool to make an impression over the next decade I think they need to build a passionate team of players that offsets the spending power of the top top sides. I have no doubt Hodgson can do that. But MON could do it better.
