It's been about 25 years since Evertons midfield was better than ours
Now 36 league matches since Everton won at Anfield having conceded. Really thought they were going to break that run today.
Kuyt and Kelly my MOTM.
If only Maxi had lived up to his promise, it would have been a Liverpool win today. He just hasn't delivered for us, and today was a case in point.
In your opinion but we know you're the founder chairman of the Kuyt appreciation society,He gave it away an awful lot dont you think? Sure he ran around a bit but not much more than that.

how does shelvey get a game he is wank
He's raw, but a proper talent with shed-loads of promise.

His passing to Torres was excellent, he helped make the first goal, scored the second, won loads of the ball, held it up well and tracked back superbly.
Yeah, but other than that he didn't do much.

Lol what about his passing to everyone else, not just Torres. Anyway not one player for Liverpool was 'excellent' you're throwing that word around willy nilly imo. And as for tracking back superbly Kuyt must have been getting lessons on how to run back to be able to do it so superbly.

Kelly and Kuyt were excellent imo.
Also thought Spearing had his best game for us today. Him and Lucas are too similar though and don't offer enough going forward.
All in my opinion of course.

I think he'll be starting regularly in far less than 3 years. He's still young and green, and of top of that he's coming into a very poor side who aren't playing well.

Thought Kuyt played a part in every forward thinking move today. He pressed high made space for Torres time and again with runs off the ball and was great defensively. MOTM contender for me.

Impossible to judge Shelvey on games so far? Thought he had good vision even if a pass or two didn't come off.

I dont think anyone was excellent today, thought there were quiet a few decent performances. Also id say torres looked a bit like his old self.

Liverpool were mediocre today but I think mediocrity is where the bar has to be set with this squad of players. The bench is a good indicator of team strength, and the options on the bench must have Kenny scratching his head. Badly out of form players or young players who might become good ones in the future. It must be like managing Coventry City or something.

Everton accepted the offer, Pienaar working out personal terms...so not yet but apperently it's Chelski or Spurs (and Spurs offer not in yet)
