Seems more and more unlikely that we're staying at Anfield! Sad to move away from Anfield but has to be done for the future of the club IMO.

But Ian Ayre said today that we cold redevelop Anfield to 60k and bring in a relative income to a new stadium for significantly less cost (I'm guessing a couple of hundred million saved). Short to medium term redevelopment makes the most sense.

Konchesky headed to Leicester for £1m
I suppose you guys won't rate him/not good enough for your team
but presumably a handy signing for the Champ?

Think he's a great signing for Leicester He did well at Forest didn't he? Should be a good signing, as he's a decent enough left-back.

Saw him a twice for Forest. I'll admit I saw him in what my mate said were his worst 2 games but I'd say league one was more his level based on what I saw. Must be better than that to play in a UEFA cup final team but probably needs confidence building up.

But by the sounds just not possilble due to local issues, and council stuff. Sue others reasons too behind the scenes, otherwise it just makes sense to stay.

I am positive they looked at all the options and are not just moving away from Anfield for the hell of it...not like these guys like wasting money.

He's fine for a mid table prem team tbh. He wasn't wanted and along with Poulsen has been scapegoated as Hodgson's signing. He did play a couple of shockers for us but he's more than a decent signing in the championship.
