suppose my point is i am older than all of you and have heard all the usual BS about England once too often in 2014. The last 24 years i have heard the same shit about why we lose. The bottom line is even as a top 8 side globally just by variance alone we should have got to the semis once since 1990 but we haven't. There is a reason for this. We are not hungry, dirty and nasty enough to win at the very top level where winners are usually not the aweosme 'total football' teams but usually dirty, tactical, gamesmanship, win at all cost teams who don't care what the world thinks about them. England would literally be ranked 400th in the world in this category in my opinion and it's one of the reasons why i am sick to death of listening to the same sh*t for 24 years since i was a kid about our lack of results. I would love suar to play for England i think he would totally change our culture like he did lolapool's last year.

Doesn't matter how anyone looks at Suarez he has proved himself to be retarded ***** , I follow man city and Toure in recent weeks with his baffling statements has proved that he is heading that way aswell, just waiting to see how man city were to blame for Ivory Coasts exit from the World Cup.
Maybe a new team should enter the football league called ***** fc - these two could be the first signings...no doubt great players but loose screws galore
Suarez won't play in this World Cup again...amazing forward thinking he must have

winners dont usually care what people think about them. Football is a business. A very dirty business. Rife with match fixing (dispatches last night on c4), dodgy agents, huge salaries. Whatever the true fan thinks thats the reality of football in 2014. Football is a business.

It's been a business for a long time agreed, a very poorly run one in most cases.
Wages far higher than income and built on a massive deck of cards - sky tv is the only thing that keeps most of the teams in the prem and those that go down in business.

Lol Suarez didn't have any such plan to get a reaction from pasta man because that suggests he's employing a considered strategy when it's quite clear he's not thinking at all.
A top defender is bossing him out the game
and that's his instinctive reaction to frustration. Just like Tyson flipping out when Holyfield was pummelling him in the face.
What did Suarez say? "I've taken a lot of criticism in England. I'd like to hear what they say now?" Err pretty much the same as before Luis.
Funny cos Mutu took a couple of lines on his bog at home and he gets sacked by his club because it's a terrible example for them kids, but Liverpool no doubt will continue to support a player who keeps biting on the football field.
His team were 1-0 up and the pastadonks down to 10 men. How exactly was this 'top defender' bossing him. Suar is all about winning for his team. If getting Italy down to 9 men helps his team he will do it. He is a street guy who knows no rules he just does whatever it takes and more to get the result.
It was 0-0 when it happened.
The reaction was purely out of frustration, if you look about 20-25 secs before the event, he gets knocked to the ground so clearly still annoyed, however without question no thought process goes on in that head of his.
FWIW, I in no way am defending his actions at all.
Sorry, with respect, not a chance he thought, (along the lines of which you kind of alluding too) " If I bite this chap, he'll react, and I'll go down, and we'll be up against 9men"

Ok i got it wrong it was 0-0 but the bottom line is the same he wants to win. He can fake an injury, induce an elbow whatever it takes to get his team a result. The bottom line is he will die to win for his team. How many England players would die for their team to win? Answer. None.

I think that the three bites and you're out rule should be imposed.
He should have all of his teeth extracted without anaesthetic.

This is nothing to do with the game a will to win. This guy clearly has an anger issue with manifests itself as biting. I doubt he realises where he is never mind what the score is when he does this. He knows the world is watching and he has previous but in that moment he just doesn't care. No part of his rational mind is party to this

Also, this whatever it takes thing irks me.
Ronny wants to win whatever it takes, but he's never bitten anyone, you think that's a leak in his game?
Maybe he should start biting rather than training longer and harder than any other pro.
Ronny who? You mean Ronaldo?, what he does when things aren't going his way is whinge and cry and ponce and preen, it's all about him not the team , he would be devastated to be denied the chance to take his jersey off, winning the match with the team is an afterthought to him.
His mentality and attitude compared with Suarez' are chalk and cheese.

He must be one of the hardest working players ever. Don't get me wrong, he's got a bundle of talent but he must work his nuts off. As a young lad he didn't have much of a head on him, and is now one of the best. His free kick technique is superb too, probably a lot of practice in that. He plays with passion and heart, but I won't argue that he likes a moan. Much rather he took his shirt off than Rooney too!

/he does work incredibly hard there is no disputing that. He left his own country at a young age and put up with a lot of abuse in the uk about him being a show pony for a couple of years and got his head down and turned himself into a global superstar when he could easily have ended up like Nani without his drive/ambition. The difference between Ron and Suar is that Ron pretty much does it for himself and his own gain whereas i always get the impression with Suar he would die for his paymaster even if it hurt his own rep.

Suarez is definitely doing what's best for Uruguay as the best Striker in the World by biting his opponent and leaving himself odds on to get a ban and leave his country drawing dead, confirmed shrewd, wish England had players with that mentality.

Ronaldo was so impressive live. The amount of miles he covered on a football pitch was immense. Yes he likes winning for himself but he knows he can not win without a team behind him.
