I know you are frustrated by Liverpool's shortcomings this season but you don't need to be rude.

Originally you've stated that Rodgers has "bought badly" and he shouldn't be sacked for it.  It's only now that you are bringing up repeated windows and that it might be a one off.  So no - it's not "clearly not what you said".

Yes all coaches make bad buys.  But it's rare for a coach to spend £100 million on 6/7 players and for them all to underperform to such an extent.  I would expect any coach to be under significant pressure for doing that if he has the major input into the player picks.  AVB got tinned at Spurs and it wasn't even him doing the buying.

For you to brush a £100 million disaster under the carpet seems absurd.  Anyway - I'll leave you to your miserable season.

Think liverpool over achieved last year and are obviously under achieving this. Not a top 4 side but probably a top 6

Then don't extrapolate a meaning out of something I've said to fit your agenda.

Should Rodgers be sacked for a bad window? No, IMO. How have I said managers should not ever be accountable for transfers? Really didn't think that was too hard to grasp.

Using Spurs as an example should make us want to sack him more? More good logic.

It's not swept under the carpet. It's a black mark on his CV. Does everything revolve around hero or sacked these days?

Some people on here need to live between black and white a little. "Oh I knew Rodgers was shit/too rookie/job too big for him" are out already. Just lol.

I think pretty much everyone's view who is a non scouse has stayed the same all the way.  Last season was a blip because of the sensational performance by Suar.  There are very few cases in sport of getting rid of your best player and filling the team with 'squad' players to 'make the squad deeper' and becoming anything other than a declining team.

Obviously, Liverpool over-achieved last season and they were bound to revert to the mean. However, not only has Suarez left a massive hole, but the absence of Sturridge has had a massive effect.

As a Liverpool fan, i was generally happy with the summer signings. Sanchez was a main target and missing out on him (without a plan but apparently) was definitely a big problem. The decent signings haven't come close to delivering though.

That said, this season isn't Liverpool back to where they belong, they're seriously underperforming. But with everyone else except Chelsea and Southampton (lol) also underperforming, Liverpool are sat in a weird position. Four points from relegation, and yet only five points off fourth. Going to need to improve dramatically though to even consider a top four challenge this season.

Not very good again.

But somehow, Liverpool are one home win away from getting through to the next round of the CL, and only five points from 4th in the PL.  Bonkers.

To use a poker analogy aren't you being a bit results oriented? I wouldn't care how many points etc they're away from CL or top spot. It's their performances that have been dire and they look like a team who can't string a series of results together.

They look exactly like what they are.  A team full of £10-15m players with no superstar, an aging past it former superstar captain and an egomaniac, dressing room wrecking centre forward who doesn't pull his weight and/or score as many goals as he should. Based on this Liverpool should and will finish between 5th and 8th.

woeful.   lacking pace up front, and in the build up, didic too scared at the back.

long long way back to anything near fighting for 4th.
