Fantastic game of football. A game of fine margins (how on earth do we not score when Stones clears it off the line i'll never know), and Mane's winner just goes in off the post.
City probably deserved the win overall.  Still, we would have taken 4 points clear, and not having to play them again.

Thought we were poor today, didn't press at all and let City play. Kept giving ball away and had little in terms of winning the ball in midfield. Shame as City looked fragile at the back

Well well well, CL Quarter Finals, & still going well in the League, where they have 73 points from 30 games, which feels to me as if it would be enough to be a few points clear at the top were it not for the extraordinary Man City exploits.

I have no idea if they are good enough to progress further - remember, they are seeking back to back CL Finals - but the resurgence of Liverpool as a major force cannot be denied.

They seem to have lost a bit of their heavy metal fizz of late, & they were far from convincing last night, but they are such a threat in front of goal that they can sometimes overcome bad performances.

Salah - a little quiet goals-wise of late, but still providing assists of the highest quality - & Mane, are enough to scare any team shitless. Well almost any team.

The CL draw is Friday.

The first 10 minutes has been a fabulous watch, both sides going for it and playing well, Liverpool marginally the better so far.

Be a surprise if there are not a few goals, fingers crossed Liverpool get some of them. If they can get back to Anfield no worse than 2 behind, they have every chance, any better they would be favourites for me.
