I'm a man of the media. For me this is normal.
My friends have already told me I have to fit the word umbrella in somewhere.
Should be quite funny watching me drop 19 buy ins in 2 hours though

I certainly am - I only found out you were on the Show tonight about 20 minutes ago - I'm absolutely delighted. Should be fun.
We will get a nameplate made up, to put on the Studio Desk, where you sit. "Concorde".
See you later.
It'll be like having one of my heroes from a bygone age on the Show.

Yes, but they are already booked I believe.
e-Mails are encouraged, though, & we read out as many as time permits, assuming they get past the censor.......

A fashion designer, evidently pre-eminent judging by media reaction, died this week.
His name was Alexander McQueen.
Most of the newspapers carried 4 page spreads eulogising his contribution to fashion & society, & it made the TV news programmes, prominently, too.
And somehow, as an avid follower of most current affairs stuff, I'd never, ever, heard of him.
So, I went-a-googling, & found this, the "ten most interesting" facts about him.
1. Born in east London, McQueen was the son of a taxi driver and started making dresses for his three sisters as a child.
2. McQueen left Rokeby School aged 16 and trained as an apprentice at Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard before moving on to Gieves & Hawkes and famous theatrical costumiers Angels and Bermans.
3. Legend has it that McQueen once sewed the words "I am a c***" into the sleeve lining of a suit he was working on for Prince Charles during his stint on Saville Row.
4. He applied to be a tutor at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design but was persuaded to enrol as a student after the Head of the Masters spotted his portfolio.
5. After graduating his entire collection was snapped up by influential fashion stylist Isabella Blow. She repotedly encouraged McQueen to change his first name from Lee to Alexander (his middle name). After her suicide in 2007, he dedicated his entire spring/summer 2008 collection to her memory.
6. McQueen became known as the enfant terrible of the fashion industry and one of his shows featured a life-sized hologram of supermodel Kate Moss.
7. After setting up his own label, he then become head designer at Givenchy in 1996, succeeding John Galliano, before joining forces with Gucci.
8. He was awarded the coveted Designer of the Year Award at the British Fashion Awards four times.
9. McQueen was openly gay and once described himself as the "pink sheep of the family".
10. His designs are much-loved by celebrities. Bjork, Lady Gaga, Kylie, and Rihanna often wear his designs.

does this even make sense? was his work shit so they didn't want to give him the job but then surely they wouldn't want him as a student either or was his work really good but then why wouldn't they want him as a tutor?
