How did your multitabling session go then sir ?

It went very well indeed! All boxes ticked, as they say.

I used to be able to stay up all night, but I'm a bit tired right now, maybe a legacy of a recent problem I had, so I can't write any more tonight.

I gotta be up at 8am, & up at The Empire (WSOPO-E) for tomorrow's Ceasars Cup - I wanna get some nice photos for the Bloggie. The Ceasars Cup starts at 10am. WTF is THAT about? A Poker Tourney starting at 10am! I know it's only a mickey-mouse event, but 10am, sheesh.

I've also been helping to induct (!) a new Sky Poker Presenter tonight, she does her first Show tomorrow night, & she's drawn the short straw for her Analyst. She's really quite pleasant.

Well Helllooooo... Sarah and Michelle orpe on the same team...with Tikays reputation.....

In fact, Michelle is not currently with Sky Poker, but two new young ladies, one of whom is Sarah Champion, are now on board. New vistas to explore, new sights to see.

I frequently do "Incoming from 'Stars/Lush The Gush/Matchroom" or whatever, but this one's a bit awkward, as it's from Sky Poker, & so will raise a hackle or two amongst the Spam Police. So I'll restrict it to my Diary. Nobody will notice it then, you see?

TV and Radio Presenter Sarah Champion Joins Sky Poker Team

Debut tonight at 9.00pm on Sky Channel 865

 

LONDON, UK—25 September 2009—Sky Poker announces that it has added Sarah Champion to its lineup of presenters. Sarah, a TV and radio presenter and actress, who is currently a host on Absolute Radio, will debut on Sky Poker tonight at 9.00pm when she presents the £15,000 Guaranteed Primo tournament on Sky Channel 865.


Before moving into presenting, Sarah was a successful model and has also worked in print journalism and as a broadcast journalist for radio. She was voted one of the sexiest women in radio by FHM Magazine.

 

“Sarah is an excellent addition to our team of presenters and analysts at Sky Poker and we are proud to have her on board,” said Des Duffy, head of poker at Sky Poker. “Sarah brings with her a huge amount of live TV presenting experience and an enthusiasm for the game that our players are sure to love.”

 

In addition to hosting the early breakfast shows and weekend shows on Absolute Radio, Sarah has hosted ‘The Official Album Chart Show’ for MTV networks. Her acting career has seen Sarah play the role of 'Marcia' in the hugely successful return of 'Jonathan Creek' for BBC1 and she also plays herself in the new ITV2 sitcom 'FM'.

 

Tonight Sarah will be joined in the Sky Poker studio by Tony "Tikay" Kendall to follow all the action in the £15,000 Primo.

So, tonight my Producer  - Miss 'Ling herself - came up with a whizz idea.

As a "Pre-Title" (a little piece we record before the Show that is inserted into the very top of the Show) she has decided we will do a spoof from a film called "Anchorman" ((?), which includes a Hefner-esque dude (err, me) who comments favourably on the leading Ladies "hiney", & when rejected, gives it the "do you know who I am?" bit.

Anybody heard of that film? I saw a bit just now - looks a little 70s/80s to me.

It's all fitting into place rather nicely. Miss Champion has arrived, & it transpires that she is an "anchorman" geekess, & knows the film, & the scene we plan to spoof, very well.
