I watched The Damned United on Sunday and liked it - thought that was all tempered when I discovered afterwards that it was nearly all made up.

I'm back up to 12st 6lbs now

We're the same weight!

I assume you're 6'2" as well so we're like twins.

I'm just a shade under 6'-2", A-Q man.

But I have far better dress-sense than you, so I look taller.

Which ground did they use in Damned United to double as the Baseball ground? And what is special about that ground this year?

Well Wiki tells me it was Saltergate, so that's the answer I guess, though it's current significance is lost on me. Pray tell?

I was very impressed by how like the old Baseball Ground it looked, & I was very familiar with the Baseball Ground of course, via the Kirkland Family.

In fact, I could see both sides of the Derby County phase of the film. I worked for John Kirkland for a very long time, during which he was always Acting-Chairman & a Director there, & of course it was not Sam Longson who sacked Cloughie, it was John Kirkland's father, Jack. And if you know the Kirkland family, you soon need to learn that it is THEIR train-set, & quite right too. It was, after all, their money.

So will the real GreekBoy please stand up, please stand up?

A bad man, but good inside, or a good man with a bit of bad in him? You can only switch-hit for short spells, you are either a leftie or a rightie.

I imagine he plays AK in position better than Bedi, though. 38th of 38, on his SP debut, in the £220 Comp, busted by a Welshie, too. The shame.

Visttors who arrive in Vegas by air, as opposed to by road, are decribed in the Vegas visitor stats, which, geekily, I studied in depth, as "deplaned visitors". Gotta love yankee lingo.

Placed horses in races are said to have shown, or won show-dough. Never once heard those expressions before, but knew instantly their meaning. Perfect.

Saltergate, and fittingly I think Chesterfield scored a 95th minute winner in the last game ever played there this year?

Work-wise, Vegas was a spectacular success, by every yardstick.

We had 6 players in the main, 2 cashed, one in 320th (approx) place.

The WSOP Main highest placed Female Brit (& third highest female overall), & highest placed Male Brit, are both regular Regular (i.e., daily) Sky Poker players. Can't knock that. Redmond got given a bunch of dough by 'Stars towards the end to don their apparel, good luck him, but he remains an SP player, & we exchanged notes this morning, he's in LA right now.

My "work partner" in Vegas, Claire, aka Attila, was a perfect fit for me. She soaks up work & comes back for more, I think I have high-energy, so pair her with me & you have a work-machine.

We filmed 83 Interviews, which together with acres of Photo Blogs & Live Updates, produced record clicks on my "tracker" code & bit-links. My clicks increased ten-fold at peak, & traffic on the SP Forum (or "Community" as they jarringly prefer it to be called) not only broke all previous records, it smashed them by miles. But it was like playing Aces, with our players running so hot, how could we fail?

And we got the gig done way inside budget - always a big plus in any Sky company.

So we got home & were lauded & lionised by the suits, "great job", well done", da de da. Which was pleasing, but you are only as good as your last task, & I've been worse than useless this week, achieved bugger all, so I'm back to square one really, worrying & wittering what they think upstairs. Honestly, I worry if I have nothing to worry about, & when things are good, I seem to engineer failure, so I can challenge myself, & worry & fret.

There are a few clouds over my 865 existence right now, not threats to my job, just not as much fun at the moment, for one reason or another. I'll just keep my head down & do my job, it'll pass in due course. I went back into the Studio for the first time in 3 weeks yesterday & recorded 4 Shows, & I sparkled, full of zing & zest & zoom. Relatively speaking, of course. I'll never be good TV, but I give every ounce I have, research thoroughly, know the faces, the names, do my background work well. You have to if you have blunt arrows in your quivery thing.

And while I'm wittering away about these trivialities in my life, Tom has been to two Funerals inside a week, one of a 3 year old, & both of whom died in tragic accidents. Gets it all in perspective.

No, but I guessed as much, saw the "I have Tilt dollars for sale" chirp thread.

Well done him.

I rate you at 90/10.
