Shakespeare would be proud.

That was a real fight to the death. The wolf has invested so much energy. If she doesn't make that kill. she doesn't survive.

Natural selection in it's rawest form. Stunning, if heart rending viewing.

Simon really has got the game by the bollocks there. He and his team do a great job. It isn't really rocket science to run poker tournaments but it isn't until you see how badly some people do it that you realise how much of an impact it can have on the whole player experience. Now that the tall guy has gone to pursue other avenues Simon should win lots of TD awards and he deserves to.

The players really made our event though, lots of really great people having a lot of fun, if anyone reading this was one of those people, cheers.

I have to also mention the DTD valets. That's a best-selling calander right there.

daily mail readers, I assume.

I'm honestly worried what happens when there's no more attenborough. I lovvvve wildlife telly, and everything he's ever made has been first rate, just amazing at what he does and I don't want to be without it.

Well, as you note, it really is not difficult, it's basically a rinse-repeat every night thing, & not difficut to do well, but DTD do the simple things well, & that's all there is to it, really. Huge respect to Simon & his crew, it's like a military operation.

To be fair to the rest of the UK scene, the Cardrooms in Casinos are just a sideshow, & not really what the business is about. Even so, you'd think personal pride would mean they would try a little harder.

Glad the Event went well. These low buy-in affairs really are what poker for the masses is about. Over 95% of the poker population are small-stakes players, & to those, even a £75 event is a big deal, & I'm so pleased they get a much better deal these days, better structured tourneys etc, compared to 10 years ago.

He is one of my great heroes in life - quite the opposite to his luvvy-duvvy brother - but to be fair, it's not all about him, & these days, he really sticks to the (superbly done) narration.

All credit to the BBC, an absolute model of PSB.

Sadly, I bet tosh like X-Factor & SCD get bigger viewing figures. Each to their own, eh?

I tick off every day, try to enjoy every one, & today has been another really enjoyable one.

Had a good Channel Review Meeting this afternoon, got some great stuff through, & I've got a bunch of exciting stuff to do off the back of it, some really interesting new faces lined up. New to 865, that is.

I got grimmed by some old dude today, sigh.......

Am struggling with a really bad chest/cold, so went to bed at 5 for a few hours.

Spent the eveng chilling on blonde, which is, mercifully, in one of it's more peaceful moods right now. Watched Frozen Planet, just superb, & then fired up two 25p-50p Omaha Tables, & just played quietly, running up a £130 profit in an hour. It's easy to lose touch with reality when we read about the Cody's, Toby's, Brammers, & Sam's winning huge numbers, deservedly so, but to me, if I can sit there quietly & nick £100 or £150 each night, & I mostly do when I play Omaha cash, I really get a kick out of it, & that's really the extent of my ambitions. When I started work, my weekly wages were £5! I suppose I'd not be considered good enough to be staked, but I'd never accept it anyway, never in a million years, it makes absolutely no sense to me to give away a % of what I win. But then again my ambitions are much more limited than most, I guess. Little & often does me nicely.

Night all.

I had a kip on the settee for an hour around 5pm. People are coming home at that time and usually, the dog barks a greeting to each of them as they arrive. When I'm asleep though, she still runs to the door to greet them, but she doesn't bark. Isn't that amazing?

PS- Look after that chest.

Just got a new Twitter follower, describes himself as follows, his alias is "Croydon Tony".

I say it how it is. Deal with it or block me like Lord (of the Mugs) Alan Sugar has. Future drinking buddy of Kammy's.

These guys get well brave Online, eh? Win some, lose some......
