I'd have Cos, & MANTIS, sat next to each other.  Those two keep sparking ioff, but here's the thing - if they ever met, they'd get on famously, mark my words.

I've said that before too.  and still firmly believe it.

Top man, thank you.

Nothing spectacular there (that fits my schedule & availability) but at least it's reasonably cheap & affordable.

Might bounce between these, the Venetian, & maybe 1 or two of the WSOP Omaha or mixed game stuff.

I'll print off all the schedules you have given me, & have a bimble.

Quite keen to play a bit more cash this year, too. So much to do, so little time.

Yeah between all the venues there is something to keep you interested on any given day and as you said all affordable.

Only Venetian really bumping their buyins by roughly 20% for the old $340 and  10% for the $550. Binions have removed an O8 tourney or 2 from their schedule which is a shame as I was going to play all of those and then holdem if there was nothing else on.

I'll leave the WSOP alone as it's out of my price range I'll off course head over to rail the brits when they storm the series again!!

I may dabble with cash while I'm there but I want to play in sociable games where there is plenty of banter and everyone is up for a laugh. A friend of mine played downtown last year and said that there were some great characters as opposed to the more serious games at the Venetian etc.

If I get out of Vegas with any money it will be a result regardless Cheesy

Owl's may fly silently but it would scare the hell out of anything that turned to see this glide up on them.

The last few seconds are especially amazing to see.

Discovered TWO things yesterday.

One.

HD TV.

I've had it since Day One, but it never looked any different to "ordinary" TV to me.

Yesterday, I got my new bins - the difference in my eyesight is nothing short of spectacular!

Everything now is so much brighter, clearer, sharper. I can barely believe the difference.

My eyesight must have declined significantly, I had them tested on my 40th birthday, & they were fine then.

Get your eyes tested regularly. You know it makes sense.

Another bonus is that I can see the keyboard now, so no more tpyos or spelling mitsakes.

Two.

Mushrooms.

Those great big buggers. (Left of photo).

I got 4 of them - 300g in weight - but the whole 300g only equates to 48 kcals! Incredible eatage value.

I've never had them before, as I thought they were vegetables, but they are not, so they are fine.

Tomorrow, I'll be trying a new diet-special meal - pineapples & mushrooms, & to hell with MANTIS & his pineapple hate.

I bet Karabiner has had a few mushrooms in his time. Magic stuff.

No shit Sherlock!

If you grated cheese on a corn plaster and grilled it it would be delicious.

I'm not saying it was a long time since Tikay's last eye test, but the eye chart the optician asked him to read had hieroglyphs instead of letters.

What kind of fuckery is this?

I like pineapple actually. But like all ingredients it's gotta be introduced to the plate only where appropriate. Where it will add to the overall appeal and flavour of the dish. So sure, if you want pizza or you've got a nice piece of gammon why not. But sprinkling pineapple chunks on every plate of food like it's as regular as adding salt is peculiar. Pineapple simply doesn't go well with little scattered fish bits and tinned tomatoes Tony. However, abuse of ingredients is very common in basic low class amateur cookery so never mind. I also like mushrooms but I don't put them in cereal or jelly.
