We should get dinner or drinks or something.
Will be in rio most of weekend.

Yeah it might be the worst casino for food in vegas. I was in line for donkament regging this year and some guy was asking the guy at the cage for food recommendations and I just snap told him anywhere but here.

Played the $300 6-Max PLO @ Binions yesterday, sadly a surprisingly low 28 runners, but did business 3 handed, taking $1,710.
What a relief!
So Investors will at least get something back, & we still have plenty of shots remaining.
There was a 7 handed Final Table, as it was 6-Max, with just 4 places paid.
The official payouts were.....
1st $3,105
2nd $1,835
3rd $1,270
4th $845
When the player in 6th busted, it was proposed, with no objections, that $125 be taken off the top 4 spots & paid to 5th, so the revised numbers were now.....
1st $2,980
2nd $1,710
3rd $1,145
4th $720
5th $500
When we got three handed, Matey Boy1 had half the chips, with the rest equally shared beteeen Matey Boy 2 & myself. MB1 & MB2 were best mates, & had been playing rather cosily between each other all Final Table. When MB1 suggested Business, with MB2 & myself both taking, effectively, 2nd place money, it seemed a good time to draw stumps & lock up $1,710.
Oh, AND we won a "Binions 7th Annual Poker Classic" hat for making the Final. Epic.

Glitter Gulch is a generic term for the area of downtown Las Vegas around Fremont Street where the lights glitter. It has been named that for many years, long before the Fremont Street Experience (the light show).
The Girls of Glitter Gulch is a strip club in the centre of Glitter Gulch.
During my 1st main event (2001) they had a "lunch break" at 3.40pm. We had started play at 1.40pm despite the schedule stating a noon start. The lunch break was to last 40 minutes. One man on our table returned 2 hours late from the break. When asked where he'd been he said he popped into Girls of Glitter Gulch. He then asked "What else are you supposed to do? I mean who eats lunch at 3.40pm?"
He had ordered his 1st double brandy at 1.45pm.
I saw him the other day. He goes around on one of those electric carts, basically because he is fat and lazy, smokes, eats and drinks too much.

I asked Jeeves, in line with his responsibilities, to do some work with the hat, of course.

Nice story Neil, thanks.
Today's Blog will be a series of little poker stories from Vegas 2013, including one quite startling one. I shall also include your tale about the drunk chap raising blind, with, of course, acknowledgement to source.

Really pleased to see some binkage, more of the same please. I'm over there Sept/Oct, not wishing my life away but it can't come soon enough after getting my daily Vegas fix here.

Good man Tony.
Back to back finals sounds like you're on a roll.

Thanks Ralph, both PLO, as opposed to PLO8, too. Just variance doing it's thing, I guess. I did run rather well yesterday.
Today, once again, it is 6-Max PLO, @ Caesars, 4pm.

Now that is PROPER binkage!
Did they win a hat, though?
