Just so makes me want to be there right now. It's great to see the joy in your posts Tony, the fun you are having shines through.
We are of for a curry with friends then of to a bar to have a few drinks with poker playing friends to remember one of ours who passed away almost a year ago at just 45. A few beers and stories of the lovely man. Savour your time on this Earth but most of all have fun on it.
Catch you later for the next instalment.

Thanks Kev.
Believe me, at my age, I have, much belatedly learned to enjoy every minute.
It makes me so sad to see so much hate & aggro in life, especially all this nonsense about "lol Live poker", "everyone is stupid" stuff, there are tens of thousands of folks here in Vegas living the dream, & millions more back home, right across the world, who would give their right arm to be here.
We live in a very odd world, in which we have, literally, never had it so good, & yet so many still diss everything & everyone.
Anyway, pardon that mini-rant.

Woody Deck winning a GUKPT? Do me a favour.
I see you've managed to improve your daily blog efficiency by 100%...by doing two days in one. Reminding me of the Simpsons episode where Homer just typed 'Y-E-S' to every question at the Nuclear plant, then he got distracted after he typed just the 'Y' and realised that's all he needed to do and all of a sudden efficiency was up 200%. He ended up blowing up the Nuclear plant tho when he replaced pressing 'Y' with one of those Woodpecker things u put on the top of a pencil which pecked 'Y' for him all day while he say in a chair.
Anyway....u liked the NBA game? Make sure u get to watch the final game on Thurs somewhere, the sportsbooks are awesome aren't they. I kinda get your love of how everyone was watching together with no rivalry, but remember it was San Antonio v Miami and you're in Vegas, most of the guys watching won't be fans of either. You'll even have seen Mike Miller happily scoring 8 points....scored fk all when Fred bet on him on the last game, weeeeee. Might see if we can find a bet if you're sweating the games.
I'm with the liking of hand history brigade, esp when you're writing them in your style, not just copying hand histories. Hope the luck improves....
Morning Jeff, been meaning to reply to this.
Woody Deck winning a GUKPT. Poor (lazy) research on my part, sorry. I actually thought he had.
He won me over when he joined my table by commenting on a private matter in a way which cheered me up no end. He also told me the full story of the Golden Nugget collusion debacle, but I never Blogged it as I was not sure it was public knowledge. There is a postscript, too, but I'm sure it is all in the domain now.
Loved that Simpsons episode, but these days I am a Family Guy man.

Hand histories? Well, each to their own I guess. I don't mind folks posting reams of 'Stars HH's, I just ain't ever going to read them. They needa little substance, some colour, some flesh to be much fun to read. Nobody really enjoys other people's HH's unless a little effort is made to make them readable, surely?
Anyway, that NBA game, & Game 7 - absolutely incredible, loved them to bits & really caught the NBA buzz.
The Lebron 3 pointer at the very end of normal time in Game 6, wowzer.
Those 2 games ebbed & flowed wonderfully, gradually, & slowly, building to a wonderful climax which was just amazing. The sexual analogy is no coincidence.
I am gonna get me a Lebron James poster for my bedroom wall - what a bloke he is!
And he is SO big, beautifully proportioned & handsome, but HUGE with it. When he is barreling down the Court at 200 mph, I'd not fancy standing in his path, he'd flatten anyone.
I know nothing of his background or personal life, but I hope he is a good role model for the millions of kids who follow him & idolise him.
Do you realise that when I was a kid, black folks like Lebron were not allowed to eat in the same restaurants, or go to the same schools, as "regular" (white) kids in many States? It absolutely defies belief, & the world must never forget that. And now he is a hero to so many, black and white. Fantastic, bloody fantastic.

Fool......
See you later mate.
Just had a chat with "nosebleed", aka Daniel Pickard. He is playing the WSOP today, "Tan, Table 357, Seat 3", can you try & get Thewy, Ryan or James Rann to pop & see him, & wise him up about the various "value" tourneys at Venetian & the like please? He is such a bright lad, very good with the poker, too. Story to follow, but gotta dash now.

...
I had a quick look, he does seems like an appropriate role model - poor background and currently 2 children with childhood sweetheart and nothing particularly scandalous around.
I don't really know anything about basketball but he was one of the players who stood out at the Olympics

I assumed that was the case given how active you are on the forum currently.
I don't believe your multi-tasking is quite that good.

I have a multi tasking algorithm to do these things for me.
