I have a small but growing collection of numbers-related books. Haven't read that one, so I'll be interested in your report.
I know you like the human slant, too, so you might enjoy

I have been reading Manga for years. Similar to Comics which brings us our super hero's! Just tends to be slightly more darker and graphical than normal comics.
Surprised you've never come across it.
He comes across different publications.

Don't encourage him, Mr Nuts.

I don't suppose you have any spare Vegas action for sell?
Have up to 5% for sale at 2.2.

Just thought i would drop in and let you know that for the first time in my life i made concrete and cement this week using a cement mixer. I was helping out my BIL with his house extension and we were doing the foundations. Most enjoyable.

Cement is made by crushing limestone rock and superheating it and god knows what else - so I doubt you did that !!
What you probably did was mix cement with ballast and water to make concrete or sand and water to make mortar !!
Highly technical stuff tho plus numerous cups of tea as a minimum requirement to get close to perfection

Which immediately made me wonder why a Cement Mixer is called that and not a Concrete Mixer?
You put in cement, ballast and water to make concrete, so it's a Concrete Mixer.
I immediately checked Wikipedia and they have it listed as a Concrete Mixer!
Who has ever referred to one of these as a Concrete Mixer?

Morning all, quick update. Will reply to questions and PM's when I get to Vegas, have had a really challenging few days at work, trying to get something over the line. Am heavily pregnant, but delivery is late. Will lay good money my little baby will be born today, probably just after I take off. Never mind, I expect everyone will think it's ugly. They often say that, you know, and it pinches a bit. Ah well, never mind, I have a Nanny lined up to change the nappies.

That's what I like, plain straightforward writing.

STAKERS UPDATE.
If the flight is on time, and all goes well, I might just be able to late reg for today's $220 PLO at Binions. It starts at 2pm, late registration is 4 x 30 min levels plus a 15 minute break. I'll be late, tired and doubtless stressed to death, so it will NOT be on the stake. (It never was included in the play list).
In the spirit of things, STAKERS will be paid as per their % package investment in the unlikely event that we win money's, but this will be a freebie, it will NOT be on stake.
I tried to work out what the worth is of all that free value you are getting, but I got stuck when I could not work out what 1% of bugger all was worth.
We start properly tomorrow, at Venetian.
That's me done, am eating fried brekkie at Gatters, Ooohhhhhh.
Flight is said to be on time, but I checked on FR24, and I calculate it will take off 23 minutes late.
Gotta go browse some book shops next, then ogle the departure boards. Love departure boards, all those destinations and dreams.
Am ridiculously excited. Had to wee 4 times already this morning.
Off we go.

I don't believe I did, no.
The Virgin flight to McCarron from Gatters is daily according to FlightAware.com.

Oh right!
As you were, then!
Safe flight, sir.
