Busto, in 19th.
Made it 6k with.....
Got flatted, then the deep stacked lairy button made it 20k. He's shown an ability to get jiggy, but he had the aces this time, including hearts.
Board was all black, and the Ace rivered for good measure.

What time are you in the media room Tony ?
I came around at 750 am this morn but it was shut ?
Is it the one in the corner of the Amazon room ?
May see you another morn
Hi Tony,
The Media Centre is at the end of the corridor, right opposite Amazon.
Unfortunately, it does not open until 9am these days (it used to be 24/7 until 2013), which is a proper pain, as I like to start work at around 5am when in Vegas.

Good luck today , keep the good form going.
Thanks David.
Am going to swerve today, it was always likely to be today OR tomorrow, & tomorrow kinda works better.
Explanation on way shortly.
Cliffs - am off the back of, maybe, the most wonderful 4 days I can remember in many a year, if not ever, so today is rest up day. I'll try & do some Updates from Events 1 & 2 for my intrepid stakers first.
Then, Heaven forbid, I took hundreds of photos on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, & I'm going to post a few. Other folks holiday snaps are about as interesting as Stars Hand Histories, or bad beat stories, I know that, but they mean the world to me, so you'll just have to look away.
I'll play @ Golden Nugget tomorrow ($240 PLO8 I think), then Tuesday will be the last day of my non-poker "holiday", & I'll start the poker schedule proper on Wednesday.
What camera do you have these days tikay?
Since I've been away from Blonde for so long the last time you mentioned cameras I'm sure you were thinking of getting a DSLR but I always found a good Compact Super Zoom does everything I need.
Look forward to seeing some photos from you. I'd definitely prefer to see holiday photos over hand-histories.
Well my photos do have a certain unique style.
I'm currently using a little Kodak PixPro. I had a similar thing previously, & it was fine, but it just sort of seized up, it would not open or anything, so that went in the bin, with all the others. I did toy with the idea of a DSLR, & Anna Fowler offered me some useful advice, but it'd be wasted on me.
Fair to say, there are some things we have to accept we can never do well. In my case, photography,
hitting a golf ball cleanly
, drawing a picture, are all things I just have to accept I'll never master, no matter what equipment I use. Fortunately, I make up for it with fashion sense, charisma, & generally speaking, the ladies find me hard to resist when I turn on the charm offensive.
When I retire, I'm determined to master a few of my failures - photography, especially wildlife, (I took some amazing photos of dolphins on Thursday) fishing, &
golf
.
I know some one who could help with that
Hope you are having a great time and run well.
Thanks Dave, but I doubt even you could help me hit a golf ball cleanly, or even hit it at all.
My hand-eye co-ordination was always bad, & now my eyes are not so good, just to compound it. I swing a bit like Jim Furyk, but I don't hit it much like him.
Am having a grand time, ta, though got a bit of a (non-poker) curly lip today.

unlucky Tony.
It was my great pleasure to run into Julian at Planet Hollywood today on the way back from first break. We kinda binked each other as ten minutes after having say hi I was out with AK v A4 and on my way out I had to pass his table just as he picked up Queens and got it all in against KK which left him on life support.Sorry Julian
We had lunch and a chat and it was great to see him again and catch up a bit. Obviously I bored him as he was soon off to find a cash game . Will try my best not to bink him in the 11am tomorrow .
Thanks Simon,
Think we are confusing binking & bokking here......
Anyway, don't bok Jules, he's my best passport to a profit this trip. He did OK in the Milly Maker ($7,000), now I need him to do it again on Friday.
Hope you are enjoying Vegas, doubtless our pathy things will cross.
What is your take on the US Open being played at a new course? Disgraceful, imo, where's the tradition? It could not happen with The Open.

Match fishing means other people, competition, time constraints, pressure... Ugh!
Oh no, I just mean float fishing by saying match fishing.
Other people, socialising, not things that should be happening during fishing time!
Oh right. I also lurrve float fishing. I first started with a matchstick on a piece of cotton. It's so exciting to try to interpret what's happening under the water by watching the little movements on the float.
They don't do that kind of fishing round here (not much still water, and a big salmon river), but urgh!! I gave up fishing after moving to Scotland as a kid from Bermuda, after fishing where the fish are fighting to take your bait the standing about cold hoping for a couple of bites an hour doesn't appeal I'm afraid.
Don't be a stranger, Rod, I've got some bird photos that need identifying once I get round to uploading them. I'd best do my Stakers Report first, then catch up on PM's, then the holiday photos will be next. Excited yet?

So, 4 Tourneys played, 3 deep runs, but only one cash, & one poor effort, in the PLO8.
Tonight, I have paid in for tomorrow's (Thursday) $1,000 WSOP PLO.
I am Table 45, Seat 1. It seems seats 4, 5 & 6 will forever elude me. Still, I get a decent view of the Boar from Seat One. We start at Noon. (8pm UK).
