of course tikay
but it should still be possible to be as safe and clean. and maybe even to timetables. no??
The London Underground is incredibly safe, & it's very clean, especially given how modern day society discards litter & free newspapers everywhere.
Timetables. All Lines run "every x minutes", & the punctuality & reliability Rates are stunningly high. As with Weather Forecasts in non-temperate climates, Timetables are redundant on LU.
to claim the lu is clean is beyond comprehension

Jim,
I spoke to Thewy today, he was on the train to Nottingham from Gatwick, ex his Vegas flight.
I asked him how he had spunked off all those Chips at The Venetian, & congratulated him on his Cash.
"How you know all that?" says G-B.
"Ahh, I have a spy in Vegas" I say.
So he asked what was what with me.
"Oh, this & that, got given a free air ticket to Vegas, gonna have a jollie there later in the year, spend some time shirt-tailing Jim".
"Yes, I know, I have a Spy in Vegas" says he.
He's intolerable.

Not that I can think off, tall buildings don't do much for me. Impressive, yes, but the difference between a 50 story building & a 100 storey building is just that - 50 more, usually identical, floors.
I thnk my favourite tall building is the Main Tower (?) in Frankfurt. Very impressive, & totally functional.
The Swiss-Re deserves consideration - not tall, but totally original. And Selfridges in Birmingham is unique. But not on a world-scale really.
Eiffel Tower, maybe, now that's a bit tidy, even Blackpool Tower is some lump of sticky-upness.
I'm thinking better, not bigger.

Nope. Chatsworth impresses me more - because it's set so well in the landscape.
The Winter Palace in St Petersburg - that may get a Nomination. They got the sheer scale "just so".

I'd like to, but I'm holding off. There's a lot of World to cover yet.
But it'll probably get the nod. Maybe.
We not looked at that big Dam in China yet. Or the Alaska Oil Pipeline.
