As with most poker events, a range of different people from different backgrounds come together, many of whom don very different, and sometimes unusual hair dos. The two images below is a prime example of this, although I'm not sure which is more frightening, the natty dreads or the foreboding beehive.

Jesus, are they giving the specimens from Area 52 weekend passes now?

Oh my God!!! Look at all the hats, there are just so many! Where are they all coming from?

Being in the Bahamas, an eclecticism of hats is to be expected, and what an array we have on display here today. From the Liam Gallagher hat to the condom hat to the traditional straw hat, it really is exciting.

By the way if anyone gets Challenge TV, apparently Jen's on it right now.

Hello, lucky Bahamas updaters! Photos of beaches and ridiculous cocktails please.

I'm told we're close to the 290 players we were originally going to finish at, but instead we're actually going to play through this level and 45 minutes of the 500/1000/100 level. The same will then be done tomorrow.

Homer -- I knew you'd find him and I knew he'd have a decent stack when you did.  Thanks.

The first of the Rhetts should have been Brit Rupert Elder, currently on 16,850.

"Just call me Mr Yo-yo," requests Dave Colclough as he nurses a newly acquired stack 21,500. He didn't seem too keen to elaborate at first, and initially I had to hear the news from Julian, but El Blondie doubled up with A-Q versus A-K, a cheeky flush hitting the River.

Julian, meanwhile, has dropped down to 24,400 after making what he believed to be a "terrible bluff" on the river with a missed flush draw.
