there haven't been any comments on it yet but i thought the scenes where they had a gathering in the graveyard, where disgusting. Not the fact that they came together to remember someone but they showed footage of the people sitting on other peoples gravestones, standing on there graves alsorts.
if i turned up at a family members grave to find people sitting on the head stone drinking i would hit the roof and violence would follow
Well I'm not sure where Paddy's son is buried, but it would be usual for the grave to be amongst others from the same family, so surrounding stones could have been their own, as it were. But then again perhaps not, I don't really know.
I do know that those people would not deliberately be disrespectful of the dead, and I also suspect that violence wouldn't solve anything.
they had a few stones there but there were alot of people there so they spilled out everywhere, stood , sat on graves , loud music, booze. I know violence wouldnt help but if i saw that with one of my loved ones graves i dont think i could control myself.
In my opinion that small clip done more to damage the travellers reputation than the rest of the series combined
For that point to be valid, wouldn't we have to assume that all travellers are the same?
no because im not saying they are all the same , just that it was damaging. in my opinion it came across as they didnt care who they offended they would do what they liked and it was 40+ people not just a few
Yes. I take your point.
I saw some people in London recently, students they were, several hundred of them. They ran amok, burning cars, smashing property and terrifying innocent people.
I don't think they cared who they offended.
I also heard heard recently that a large group of paedophiles had been arrested in a dawn raid.
I understand that both these groups were from the settled community.
Am I drawing any conclusions from that? you might ask.
No. Of course not.

i agree with you, arseholes in most cases with good and bad in every community in the world. Im not anti traveller and having a go. just bringing up a point that everyone seems to be talking about the dresses, the good and bad of traveller lifestyle but everyone ignored what i thought was the worst thing to be shown.
The topic of bfGw was being discussed at the time not the idiots rioting in London or the filth of the world being arrested, when it is being discussed i shall give my views on it.

I'm glad we agree.
I thought you raised a good point, and I enjoyed your contribution.

I like alan sugar.
I have as it happens. But I admire so many people that I wouldn't know which one to choose.
Also, I like it when I see someone at a venue and recognise them from their avatar, because then I can go and say hello. I like it when it works the other way too.
And another thing. I'm crap at anything techy, Ironside put my avatar up for me when I first joined, it's been there ever since.

Decided to let my hair down and pig out a bit tonight. I seem to get the urge to do that about once a month.
The next day, I've gained a pound or two. but I'm re-invigorated and ready to get back on the wagon. A weakness I know, but I can live with it.

I bet a few people have been disappointed when they found out that Girgy doesn't look like that in real life too.

He doesn't?! Well damn. There goes my morning with all I thought to be true...right out the window.

Don't worry, this is true.
Hitting on the novel idea that he could end his wife's incessant
nagging by giving her a good scare, Hungarian Jake Fen built an
elaborate harness to make it look as if he had hanged himself. When
his wife came home and saw him she fainted. Hearing a disturbance a
neighbor came over and, finding what she thought were two corpses,
seized the opportunity to loot the place. As she was leaving the room,
her arms laden, the outraged and suspended Mr Fen kicked her stoutly
in the backside. This so surprised the lady that she dropped dead of a
heart attack. Happily, Mr Fen was acquitted of manslaughter and he and
his wife were reconciled.
