today would have been a good day to see the royals at sandringham church before the meleé on xmas morning
but I'm a bit under it with manflu and cba
I'm hoping to go on next sunday and the sunday after
if you're nearby n some kind of curious its worth a trip
then on to sunny hunny n fish n chips

 The previous Duke Andrew had a keen interest in the Gypsy community and he came to visit my mam and dad in their little caravan leaving his Rolls parked outside. I have a pic somewhere of us all perched on a little bunk drinking tea. A bit of a change for him I suppose. His place has 126 rooms. Around the back of his house, out of sight of the general public, he had a bow top wagon. I went and had a look and it's still there now. | Click to see full-size image. |

They make a big ooh Haa about Christmas at Chatsworth, decorating about 20 of the rooms and charging people £20 each to be herded through. They process something in the region of 3000 people per day for about a month, which is a nice little earner. We had a look at the decorations, Mrs Red loved them but frankly they leave me cold. Priceless works of art and beautiful antiques covered up with baubles and bits of tinsel.  | Click to see full-size image. |
