I've not read that one, made a note for future reference. Have you read Primo Levi's If This Is A Man?

In my top ten list of biographies. A book that has lived with me since I read it 20 years ago.

Probably from before I was born, Mum & Dad had this book in our book case. Strange that they thought it was okay to be accessible to me as a young boy. I never read it but the pictures were a bit disturbing even though I don't think I really grasped the full horror and enormity of it all.

I don't mean to be flippant, but I don't think any of us ever will.

Tom, make sure a visit to Auschwitz goes on your bucket list.

It is without doubt the the most depressing and emotional place you could ever imagine, I felt like i was floating throughout my visit and being "guided" ...  It stands at No.1 in my list of places I have been to. I am so glad I went, for so many reasons.

I wonder how long it will be before we see an advert saying "Turn your particles of interstellar dust into cash. Just drop your old, unwanted, or mismatched particles of interstellar dust into the envelope and send it to us..."

Talking of space dust, I love this piece about big numbers and how we're all just specks of dust really:

The Carl Sagan quote at the bottom is briliant.
