It allows you to play Mega Drive (or other system's) games on your PC.
Nostalgarama. I used to love some of those simple platform games.
Can you link me to an emulator?

Don't do it Tom. You'll be stuck for weeks!!!
Saying that, if there's a Double Dragon for the Amiga emulator I'd be forced to have a go.

can't stop laughing, two great stories today
Thanks very much byron. I enjoy writing enormously, especially when I'm in the right mood.
I know most of it is just tripe, but it's still nice when someone compliments it.

my local tip uses a bulldozer, it was like the one you describe until recently when they built a huge new indoor facility. you drive up a ramp to the top level and throw all your rubbish over the side where it falls into a big pit and you can see the dozer shoving it round

I wonder if they have a sorting facility somewhere on the site now?

they've still got the seperate sections for electricals, metals, wood, garden etc. you throw those over the edge into seperate compartments. it's just the general household waste that goes into the bulldozer bit rather than a normal compacter. I think they also sort through the general waste though for the bits that people didn't bother seperating

Ah, I see. The "General Houshold" is usually the stuff that can't be recycled. It goes into landfill.

Do the guys on the tip still make a tidy little extra on the side?
I used to know a guy, some years back now, his family had the concession to a tip. He sold once a week on Rochester market. He reckoned to holiday twice a year on a cruise, all from what people had thrown away. I once bought some drawings off him. Later sold to a gallery in Bond Street, & are now in the Tate archive.

Oh god yes. Now more than ever. A good tip is a license to print money.
Scrap iron and non-ferrous metals are making a silly price atm, not to mention antiques, collectables, and the occasional bit of tomfoolery.

Depends how many jumpers the residents of the house are made to wear by whoever pays the heating bill.

I think they would decide that for themselves depending on how warm he keeps the house.

Remember I told you that Mrs Red went to a hen do? Well today, she went to the wedding.
This conversation, between her and the daughter of one of her old friends, was reported to me by a third party. It took place on a noisy dance floor.
Mrs R: So you're married now?
B: Yes
Mrs R: Which one is your husband?
B: Come on. I'll point him out to you, but don't let him see me doing it.
Mrs R: Just describe him to me.
B: OK. He has a green shirt and a small goatee.
Mrs R: A green shirt and a small donkey? Who is it, Shrek?
