Great choice Ralph. Care to tell us why?

It's my favourite movie of all time, and for some silly reason it reminds me of my dad.

He used to come round to have Xmas dinner with me for years after my mum died and I remember the first time after we'd eaten we sat down to watch Casablanca which happened to be on the telly and he said to me "This is the first time that I've seen this since it was on general release in 1941".

When he came around the next year at Xmas, lo and behold Casablanca was on the telly again and dad said to me "this is the first time that I've seen this since I saw it in the cinema during the war"

Bless him he was in his late eighties at the time.

Excellent choice of favourite movie of all time Ralph (obviously only because I agree with you rather than any objective reasoning)

Another choice of film poster which I think is particularly evocative is this one

Of course this might just mean I'm a sucker for historical romance war movies

I think this is a great poster. I read the book just before the film was released in 1975. In it's day the special effects were ground breaking. Do you remember jumping out of your seat when that head popped up under water?

BTW- If you had to have one on your living room wall, which one would it be?

Will have to try and narrow it down to 1 ... but when I am a multi millionaire, I intend to have a massive cinema room in my mansion and have movie posters all over the walls Wink

Without a shadow of doubt that would be the first thing I would do. Complete with ice cream lady at the interval.  Grin

Stick me down for a raspberry ripple tub with the little wooden scoop spoon mate ... and your Mrs would look good in the Lolly dolly outfit Wink
