Is all that food for right now?!
I've had a tough week. I moved a shed, which caused an avalanche of work, all of it physical. i.e. lifting, digging pulling etc.
(I broke up a 5 ton concrete slab with a hammer that weighs more than I do)
Today was one of the hardest, (Silly O'clock til "come in now, it's dark") but it was also one of the most satisfying.
It's given me a bit of an appetite though.....
Now why would ya go and do something like that? Surely it could have been used as a platform for something else later on down the line.
That aside, eat away. You deserve it. Even if it was silly work.

No no. The floor of the shed was made of concrete which had been poured on to the existing concrete underneath.
If I'd left it there, it would have been raised above the rest.

The silly gets sillier. Afraid to ask why it was done that way, but it's been a slow night so go on...why?

Dunno. I'll add it to the list.
Why pour concrete poured on to the existing concrete?
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
What is Satan's last name?
Why do doctors leave the room when you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.
Where does the toetag go on a dead person if they don't have toes?
Why is the Lone Ranger called 'Lone' if he always has his Indian friend Tonto with him?
When does it stop being partly cloudy and start being partly sunny?
How can something be "new" and "improved"? if it's new, what was it improving on?
Why does caregiver and caretaker mean the same thing?
Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?
How do you tell when you run out of invisible ink?
How does Freddy Kruger wipe his arse?
Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?
If prunes are dehydrated plums, where does prune juice come from?
Does a lightning rod on top of church show a lack of faith?

Someone approached me at DTD today and told me that I had spelled a word wrong in my diary.
How nice if him to notice, and what's more, take the trouble to point it out. I was quite flattered.
I've fixed it BTW.

poured? I didn't want to point it out as it was quite funny seeing it in a post replying to dawn after you'd commented on her mistake not long before

Yep. That was the one.
I was just having a laugh with Dawn, but I soon got my comeuppance eh?. I'm just glad that herself didn't spot it.
To be honest, I like it when people point out my spelling mistakes, (Tony usually does it by PM) at least it shows that they haven't stopped reading because of drivel overload.
I'm actually a poor speller, but I'm very good with the spell checker.
