In reply to jakally's PM: No. "Gathering dust" does not count as a collection.

Sunday Times magazine today has a 4 page article about "gypsy" bare-knuckle fighters. "Roma and Irish gypsies" is a direct quote (including the capitalisation; I facepalmed at that point, but carried on reading). Although to be fair, it's quite an interesting article, although I'm not sure how much is generalisation, although the journalist has obviously talked to a few people in the community, so at least they've made an effort. They do quite a big interview with a "Roma gypsy" who claims there is has to be one fighter in every family to sort out matters of family honour...
Tom - if you get a chance to read it, be interested in your commentary.

It'll be behind the Times paywall unfortunately. So yes, but you have to pay for it. May as well buy/beg/borrow the paper.
I can keep hold of it and bring it to DTD - I'm usually there most Sunday evenings if you happen to be about. Although maybe not tonight as they haven't got the usual £50 at 8pm going I think. May play the £15 tho.

It's OK, I'll buy it. I just hate paying for the privilege of being misrepresented.

Tom as a kid I collected beer mats and matchboxes. My old man was long distance driver and I had lot's from all over the country. However I don't recollect what happened to them. Like most kids of our generation I collected stamps and I still have the stamp album bought for me by my aunt when I was 9/10.

You mean because of you, your poor old dad had to go into all those pubs while he was away?

I've just opened a drawer to find a battery for the remote control, and there, large as life, was a big bar of dark chocolate staring right at me.
