I'm only just now beginning to realise how bad I am at maths.

I always used to think I was good at it because I could reckon money up pretty quickly, but when I come to think about it for most of my life that has only meant handling sums totalling a few hundred.

All this malarkey might as well be written in Klingon for all the use it is to me.

The 'purer' you go in maths the less numbers you use, that was the type of Maths I studied for my degree - it's about as much use as Klingon in general.

It always looks so fascinating though, and you can use it to prove any theory or win any argument.

I bet you could come up with an equation that proves that Mitch is underweight.

Speaking of maths, I've just worked out that it costs about 7p to make a cup myself a cup of tea at home.

Teabags: PG tips, special offer £4 for 200       2p

Three Canderel  sweetners at 99p per 100       3p

Boil a pint of water at 2p per ltr                     1p

Milk 1% of a £1 per 2ltr carton                      1p

I've been watching The Young Apprentice on BBC1.

I'm not really much into this type of cannon fodder TV, but a have to grudgingly admit, it is rather splendid viewing.
