Nah, a lady was knocked over and killed on a zebra crossing a couple of miles from me, should be on there.

Stephen Hawkins 'Did God Create the Universe?'
A must see for all budding Boshi's
So basically what Steve is saying is that the universe consists of billions upon billions of tons of matter, and billions upon billions of tons of anti-matter.
If you put the two together, they equal precisely nothing.
Conclusions:
The universe was created from nothing because it adds up to nothing.
Time began with the creation of the universe. Before that there was nothing and time didn't exist.
God could not have created the universe, because he had no time in which to do it.
Simples.

Makes your mind explode when you think of time as having a start and potentially, an end point.
The end of the universe will occur when maximum entropy is reached. Basically the 'heat death' of the universe will occur when all physical activities stop, right down to at a sub-atomic level. When this happens, time will also stop - as nothing will be happening, anywhere.

But then it could all start all over again, and probably has, in a parallel universe.

That's the thing though, if the 'heat death' occurs, it can't all start over again - unless there's a stimulus from outside the universe. So we need to define what we mean by universe...

To be honest I just glossed over your 'heat death' comment because I'd never heard of it. but since you've forced the issue I looked it up.
This a good explanation (Good in the sense that I more or less understand it)

Tony is a tosser! (Ignore this comment, it's just an experiment to see how much he misses while he's "Speed-reading').

Tony might be a tosser, but if your readers can elevate themselves, we are discussing racehorse breeding, & trainers, next door, not all this science friction mumbo-jumbo. Oh, & Pandas. Jolly exciting it is, too.
Forgot to ask - how is Kizzy Wizzy?

Kizzy is sleeping on my foot, which is also sleeping.
I might visit Auld Reekie one of these days too. There's actually so much more to it than a couple of 'New- kid in town' pandas. (For the cultured observer that is).

Correct - it has the 2nd largest railway station in the UK, I believe. Smack bang in the centre of Town, too. And head north a few miles, & you can have afternoon tea on the shores of the Firth of Forth, right between the 2 bridges, in Queensferry. Has a nice little Castle thing, too.
So it's "Kizzy", not "Kizzy-Wizzy"?
