I "socialised"* a bit with a lad known as "fast Eddie" due to his incredible guitar tekkers, that would be in the early 1970's, who went on to play with Motorhead as their lead guitar. I'm not sure how long he stayed with the band as metal was never my thing.

*Smoked a few spliffs with and quite possibly a chillum or two.

Lemmy/Fast Eddie Clarke/Taylor are considered to be the definitive Motorhead line up Ralph

And here is his wiki page

That's interesting and possibly fits in with the boat restoring job which was probably on the Chelsea Embankment as my mate's flat where we used to hang out was on one of those roads between Fuham Rd. and Earl's Court Rd.

I should add a disclaimer that my memory of that era might not be 20/20.

Tom saw the Oystercatcher pair again today whilst out on my run.  They seem to like it at the lake.

Also saw another first at the lake, a Lapwing.

Anyway, back to the Motorhead chat!

Haha, that looks like me on a run. I have run underneath a buzzard sat on a branch before, and I was struggling up a hill.  Did make me think it was waiting for me to topple over so it could have a feed.

Yes. I'm no ordinary  man, as you are well aware, but too many all nighters finally caught up with me, so I had a night off.

I will be there tonight though, bright eyed & bushy tailed.

My informants keep me up to speed regarding Melissa's behaviour, drunken or otherwise.

I take it you're a Motorhead fan? Which prompts me to ask, since when? and why?

Why doesn't the obituaries section in popular newspapers tell you what the person died of?
