Peanut butter? It's messy, but supposedly it really does work.

Yep.

Works like a charm and not messy at all.

In the other videos available at the end, I can confirm the toothpaste headlight lens cleaning one works as I did it two weeks ago.

Toothpaste is also excellent for cleaning jewellery.  Gets those diamonds proper sparkly.

Great find Rich.

When I was a yoot, one of my chores was to syphon petrol from the lorry for the generator.

Boy did I love that job.

A Wisconsin seven year old boy wrote to Vice President Joe Biden with an unusual suggestion for making the nation safer: Create guns that shoot chocolate bullets.

He received this reply. Handwritten

That is just fabulous.

Chris Rock, for all his critics, taps into the gun control debate so beautifully.

There's his famous solution from his stand-up gig (was it 'Never Scared'?):

You don’t need no gun control, you know what you need? We need some bullet control. Men, we need to control the bullets, that’s right. I think all bullets should cost five thousand dollars… five thousand dollars per bullet… You know why? Cause if a bullet cost five thousand dollars there would be no more innocent bystanders.

Yeah! Every time somebody get shut we’d say, ‘Damn, he must have done something ... Shit, he’s got fifty thousand dollars worth of bullets in his ass.’

And people would think before they killed somebody if a bullet cost five thousand dollars. ‘Man I would blow your fucking head off…if I could afford it.’ ‘I’m gonna get me another job, I’m going to start saving some money, and you’re a dead man. You’d better hope I can’t get no bullets on layaway.’

So even if you get shot by a stray bullet, you wouldn't have to go to no doctor to get it taken out. Whoever shot you would take their bullet back, like "I believe you got my property.”

And then a more recent solution:

... We need some bullet control. ...

IIRC this is actually part of the system in Switzerland.

Everybody has to do military service and everyone can get to keep their gun afterwards and it does cause higher gun casualties then more sensible countries which don't let all their citizens have guns but it's not at a catastrophic level because you're only allowed to take your gun out of your house for specific reasons (like you've been called up to serve) plus you're officially allowed to keep the gun in your house - but not any bullets.

EDIT: apologies for the unnecessarily long sentence, I think it's a grammar police backlash.
