The problem with physics at really large and really small scales is that the human brain struggles to comprehend it.
Exactly. Like the power of God. I can explain "god" in very simple terms. In 1 word in fact.....Poppycock I have a very effective fishing rod, apparently. Was aiming for Kinboshi. I'm a Christian; boshi has an equally strong belief against the existence of a greater power. Apart from Robbie Fowler.

Tom. There's a good book called E=mc2. I used to have it, but I leant it to an old bloke who has a penchant for flat caps and scarves, and I think it must have been converted into energy.

I absolutely loved Why does e=mc²? (and why should we care?) by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw.

Agreed, very good read. Space time is another concept that appears to make sense and then suddenly makes no sense at all.

Thanks guys. I'm getting more and more interested in creation and the big bang theory.
Q: Does the very word 'Creation' imply that 'someone' was responsible for it?
Q2: Kin / Tal, are you both referring to the same book?

Creation is often meant to imply that there is a 'creator'. http://creation.com/The people responsible for that site have a hell of an agenda and exhibit incredible selection bias

What do we want? Bird and van pics!
When do we want them? Anytime soon would be nice.
If I wanted highbrow I would get cortisone injections, badoom tish.
Yes, all that was for that horrific punchline.

I've but an incredible amount of work into the van, virtually all my spare time in fact, but we're getting there now. Pics coming soon. No bird pics atm (Unless you count some of Mrs Red) but we do have rabbits sitting on the lawn, 3ft from the window, eating the grass in broad daylight as bold as brass. The dogs are hanging their heads in shame.
