This was top of the pops when I was born:
Proper 80s, that. Couldn't look more 80s.

Big Three O this year Tal? Or did you let it slip by unannounced?
I actually thought you were older due to your taste in nineties music. Shouldn't you be more of a noughties boy?

I went to see Nena and her 99 red balloons in concert at the London Palladium (now I feel old)
At pitchside, was Nena's identical twin sister. I, fanboy in the front row, was able to see them swap half way through and the other twin completed the concert. The majority of the audience did not realise there were two lead singers
Not a great concert, as befits a one hit wonder
I had better work on my anecdotes!

Next year. Got plenty of time to get rich or marry someone rich.
Not you, Rich, you're safe.

Gonna call BS on that Tighty. I don't think she had a twin sister.

It was interesting and nicely presented.
Not all anecdotes have to be about earth-shattering events.
Viva la waffle.

The number of people on blonde who have met or seen a picture of me whose first comment is "I thought you'd be older" or, in Mr Channing's case, a more euphemistic "You don't look anything like I expected" is a constant source of amusement.
