Sicksquid for that does seem about right, although i would rather be charged a tenner and get double that. Sure you didnt order off the kids menu?
I ordered it because I've had it in a couple of other Gentings casinos and it's a always been big plate of chips with positively unstable amount of scampi balanced on top. This time the chips were in one of those little bowls that they put on your plate, (WTF is that about anyway?) and the scampi were sitting off to one side, alone and isolated on a vast expanse of white porcelain, like a little rash on a posh bird's bum.
The missus used to work in a food pub, guideline was 12, orders were 9 .
To balance it out I would get~ 20 if I went in
Quite right too. And I bet your chips weren't in a separate little bowl.
I'll tell you what else pisses me off.... People on telly who poke around at their food without eating any. They order drinks at the bar and leave them untouched, and then they light a fag, take one puff and stub it out.
My mam would have given them a thick ear.

The classic soap thing where they order a drink and the leave it. Supposed to be real life. No one ever in a back street boozer would ever do that. Unless it was their tenth pint and they were being ejected.

I'm lying in bed in the Fiat hotel, watching people go about their business on this damp gray morning.
I'm trying to decide whether to have another hour in bed, (the only time I'm ever tempted to have a lie-in is when I can watch the world go by at the same time) or to get up, have a wash and shave and go to Sainsbury's for breakfast.
First world problems.

I've re-evaluated the view and decided to go for breakfast.
Morrison's Breakfast >>>> Sainsbury's Breakfast imho
not by a lot though
My rankings would be
morrison's
Sainsbury's
big gap
Asda
Tesco
but a good greasy spoon caps all

Totally agree, but Sainsbury's is right across the road.

Probably chuntering, as he only got 2 rashers. Cue another 3 pages of non-stop chunter.
