I'm such a hypocrite. I'm always telling everyone not to store junk and to tidy up after they do something, but my shed is full of things that will "come in handy" and when I do a job I'm so intent on getting it finished that I just leave my tools lying around waiting to be picked up later.

Coincidently, Alisha just brought back your rake from where you abandoned it by the gate

Next Door, there is a lovely lad who writes (or sometimes copies from WSOP.com) a Daily Update from the WSOP, rather as Tighty does here, & he tries to spice it up with little stories.

Today, writing about the $10,000 WSOP Stud Event, he wrote.....

And one final player to mention - another former winner of the stud, back in 1996. One Henry Orenstein, who deserves to be more famous than he is. He is 90 years old, was a Jewish Holocaust survivor who spent time in concentration camps and has gone on to be an entrepreneur and philanthropist, but his best known contribution to poker is that he was the inventor of the hole-card-cam. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2008. He did the "shuffle up and deal" at the start of the event and sits nicely inside the top 20 at the end of the day.

Fascinating!

At $17, his book is the most expensive I've seen on Kindle.

I'm sure that I played some PLO with him at The Venetian a few years ago.

We were sat next to each other, I spotted the camp tattoo on his forearm and discretely (I thought), having introduced myself and been in friendly conversation for a while, tried to ask him a few questions about it but he said that he didn't like to talk about The Holocaust at the poker table.

Lovely man, and what a life he's led. I hope he wins.

Great story Ralph.

He might just win, too.

The WSOP Updates are not always reliable, or up to date, (there's only one Tighty, only one Tighty...) but last time I looked, he was going along nicely with just 26 players remaining.

Oh think twice, it's another day for you and me in paradise.
Oh think twice, 'cause it's just another day for you,
you and me in paradise.
Think about it
