No?!

I have followed his life with great interest, & only recently discovered his website.

For the record, all that "torture" stuff was untrue as far as I can tell. He was certainly a bit of a devil, though.

His Autobio was one of the best reads ever, he, literally, wrote as he spoke. There were no "fluffy grey clouds over the distant mountans" bollox, it was all "well, what a do we had that night" stuff. He wrote "had a bit of a do with the prison officer, but I got me slippers back". (He famously wore slippers 24/7 whilst in prison).

Note the word "me" not my". That's how he spoke, that's how he wrote.

Easily my favourite photo of Frankie is when, quite recently, he was at Charlie Richardson's funeral. (I've just read Charlie's bio, as chance would have it. Woist written book ever ever ever).

Just look at these three. Frankie in the middle, son David to his right (as viewed), David is a chip off the old block, & that bloke in that awesome, crucial, suit. I want to be that bloke in that suit, wow, to be able to "carry" gear like that.

Norman Tebbit, (That's Baron Tebbit to you) has solved the immigration problem.

Apparently all we have to do is ask potential immigrants who their fathers and grandfathers fought for in the war, and which cricket team they support. If the answers meet with his approval, they're in.

He's having none of that stupid, "Wanting a better life" or "Fleeing persecution" crap then?

US police officer Darren Wilson - who fatally shot unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in the Missouri town of Ferguson - has resigned from the force.

"Handing in my resignation is the hardest thing I've ever had to do" He said in a written statement.

Now I don't know the truth about what happened on the 9th of August, and perhaps only one person ever will, but that statement just makes me want to ask,  'What? Was it harder than shooting an unarmed black teenager 6 times Mr Wilson?'

Surely therein lies the problem....

According to which ever party happens to be in opposition, has any government ever done anything right?

Never mind Fortnum & Mason's, try Curries / PC World at Fosse Park if you want a real shopping experience.

Never again. I'd sooner play with razor blades.

Wink

If you visit Fortnum & Mason (the proper one, not the St Pancras Tat Shop version) they even have a little man in the toilet to assist you with your needs.

One of the main problems with our political system Red, it's not government for principles but government for power at all costs. No consensus politics, no willingness to find common ground, sadly they're so entrenched that any change which would encourage some sensible attitudes gets rubbished - like proportional representation - which usually leads to more coalition politics (and not of hte type of capitulation coalition adopted by the Lib-Dems).

Are you entirely sure he works there?
