thought this might interest you
For 5 hrs on Tues, no coal was burnt to generate electricity in GB for the first time since 1882
It
does
interest me. What an amazing stat.
Why was 1982 the last time I wonder? the miners strike wasn't until 84 so it can't have been that.
Look how much nuclear energy we use. I can't decide it it's good or bad. Well it's good obviously but it's so bloody scary.

Put 1/2 cup of rolled porridge oats, 1/2 cup of your fave granola and half a cup of crunchy nut cornflakes into a bowl. Do not add milk, mix well and eat with a teaspoon.
It's delicious. It takes about 20 minutes to get through, which gives you time to read the news and your brain time to realise that you're full.

I wonder how we came to the conclusion that 3 meals a day are the right amount?

You know Dave I was thinking about you going to Vienna abd I realised that I know virtually nothing about your personal life.
I still have to rely on my first impression after meeting you years ago.

Some like it cold.
Beef stew.
Toast.
Bacon and egg sandwiches.
Chinese takeaway.
Baked beans.
KFC.
Am I a weirdo?
Yes you are. Every thing on that list has to be as hot as can be.
Good to have you back and with a bang. Those doggy piccies are superb.
Bloody Hell Kev, here I am trying to keep the old place tidy and you come steaming in and bugger up the quoting.
Don't you like any hot stuff cold?
I've just remembered rice pudding and breast of mutton.
The only things that were hot and I can eat cold are meats. Anything else just no way.
On an other topic Eurovision.
I am enduring Eurovision for the first time since the 80's because Joo wants to watch it. Some local lad in it from up the road. Don't get me wrong hope it goes well for the lads but only seen 2 songs and it's already hard work. FML.
Joe and Jake are on next.
Eurovision. The last time I watched it was when some Irish bloke won it singing What's another year. I think his name was Ray Langdon.
I think his name was Johnny Logan , Ray Langdon was Len Faircloughs mate in Corry ?

We always have the heating in the bedroom set at very low to off completely, but the other night it was quite nippy and as I wanted to read for half an hour I got into bed with my socks on.
Then I went to sleep without removing them and what's more, I liked it. I've done it again several times since.
It's a slippery slope.
Nowhere near enough love for this little gem.

3 meals a day works fine for me as long as I can have 3 meals a night as well.

So in the morning when the average guy is eating a bacon sarnie in their dressing gown you are eating a bowl of sawdust in your trousers?

I can confirm that on Thursday evening he tried to eat all three of our dinners.

Went to see this reprobate today. He looked fit enough to bite a tiger and he never stopped smiling.
Bloody Dereham is a bugger to get to though, that's why no one ever goes and they have to make do with such a stagnant gene pool.

I never claimed to be an average guy.
