HM the Queen was out riding in Windsor yesterday.

Not too many 90 year olds still ride horses. Pretty impressive, I'd say.

Apparently that's  "fell pony" she is riding. Sturdy bugger, that.

I've just bought a new house that has a badger set at the end of the garden. Might have some interest pictures of those fellas to share at some point.

I was speaking to my new neighbour last week and he said he's seen as many 9 in his garden at once.

Can't wait to see them Smiley

Jealous!!

Peanuts scattered on the lawn will draw them out apparently.

Looking at the state of the lawn I don't think I need to worry about having to draw them out.

The house has been empty for quite a while now so I imagine their confidence levels are very high at the moment and they'll be out a lot.

Activity levels are certainly on the increase since the weather started to improve. I'll try to get a few pictures of the set.

Trev is to badgers what Tom is to moles.

I'm pretty sure Mr Russell will be much more open-minded. Not so sure what Ronnie's view might be though.

Personally i have nothing against badgers as long as they are not close by

Living out in the sticks i get to see first hand the devastation they cause to dykes, river banks, gardens, walk ways etc

Don't lets forget TB

It is an offence to kill badgers or destroy sets.  Not sure Mr Russell was thinking of keeping cows, so don't think he has to worry about TB?  Though it is pretty controversial if it spreads to cows anyway.

Guess Ronnie might just scare them out anyway, does he do squirrels?

Ronnie does selected people, whereas Mr Russell is more partial to German Shepherds.
