I enjoyed reading it again after a rather fleeting ten years too.
Are you getting all of your tales ready for that long-promised book Tom?

I think it's a toss up who is the most unlikely to do one Ralph, you, me or Tony.

I'm definitely the least likely although I have written the title.

I think your book is sitting here in this diary - well 90% of it - just needs sifting through.

I think this is pretty incred.
I have several stainless steel dog dishes that I keep outside to feed and water the dogs in.
Every time I pick one up there is at least one slug in it. That's every time.
Now slugs move slowly and they must happen upon the dishes by accident, so, how many slugs must there be nation wide if every 8in circle of the country is crossed by one twice a day?

Why that spelling Ralph? A typo would be very unusual.
Anyway, I'm sold. Put me down for 3 copies.

It's meant to be a play on words.
I spent half of my life giving them free rein - I must have had some of the fittest demons around.

What about the Honours list address leak balls up?
Now I know that anyone can make a mistake but come on, this is putting people's lives in danger. This isn't just about a few celebs, this is the addresses, including street names, house numbers and post codes of high ranking officials and people who have been involved in policing or counter-terrorism.
Surely before the 'Publish' button is pressed, there should be a checklist and a security procedure. There should also be someone who checks that the procedure has been followed.
How can there be no chain of responsibility here?
Criminal negligence of the highest order IMO.
