I've just been ranting about someone near me using a chain saw at 8am on a Sunday morning.

Eventually I realised it's Monday morning.

So it's a quarter to one in the afternoon. This has become my new breakfast time.

These days I wake up around 7 or 8, lie in bed and read the news for an hour, get up and take the dog for a walk, come back and go out on my bike, do a few floor exercises, have a shave and a shower then cook my breakfast.

At least it fits in well with my diet because I'm only having two meals a day. (sometimes I have a packet soup around 4pm if I can't wait for dinner.

If I get the weight off this time I've got to make a proper effort to keep it off. Every time I do it it's harder.

The trouble with me is that I have to go so far off the rails that I'm disgusted with myself before I can start the process of pulling myself together.

I still like a cafe fry up but it’s about once a fortnight when cafes are open
1 Egg -2/3 bacon tinned tomato 2 toast is plenty for me these days
At home egg is poached , in cafe it’s cooked on griddle ? Or in a pan of oil
Normally egg n bacon roll Saturday maybe Sunday now

Well I say cook...

Two slices of Wholemeal bread in the toaster, two slices of processed ham in the microwave until they become crispy and taste like bacon, (I call them Fakeon) and two eggs done sunny side up.

Large mug of proper tea.

~ 400 cals.

What vaccine did you get in the end Red & any after-effects?

My Mum got hers today (Pfizer) and I'm scheduled for next Thursday.

I got the Oxford AstraZeneca Rod.

I did have a headache and felt a bit 'off' for a couple of days but plenty of pampering and mollycoddling soon cured that. You know how tough I am.

I'm hardly moaning at all now.

You can have egg with beans if you must but never let the two actually touch each other. (you can let the beans touch each other)

In fact, if I have beans on my breakfast I like them in a little side pot.
