Cracking photo Tom.
Robins seem to be remarkably tame, & will come very close.
Yes Tony, virtually every garden has a 'tame' resident robin, but when I go for a walk and I'm miles from anywhere there are still robins that come within a few feet of me.

I've been musing all night about blonde's who are missing in action.
One such is old Papertits himself, Greekstien.
Not the easiest member to deal with from a mod's point of view but a good bloke at the bottom of him, as my dad would say.
Anyway I admired him a lot. Anyone know how he's doing?

He sent me a DM on Twitter last month & seemed to be doing just fine.
As you say, one of life's real men. We had a fallout or two along the way, but he was totally trustworthy.
His Twitter handle is @greekstein

My youngest's school has started doing screen free Friday and the activity "she" has chosen has been counting birds in our garden. We normally get loads, but yesterday they were down 60%. We have feeders and are near the country park.
It was below freezing all day, but it may just have been bad timing; as the birds seem to come in waves. I am hoping we haven't lost too many.
We did get 3 long tailed tits yesterday and I haven't seen them for a while. If I could be arsed, and our heating is on, I might just get up at sunrise to see how they are doing. Hopefully sunrise isn't too early tomorrow. Might just put some fatballs out where those that can't get on the feeders can get them. The bastard squirrels will likely get them even if they are supposed to be hibernating.

As Tom is in a reminiscing mood, I spotted these two photos on Cos's Twitter page;

I think it's great that your daughter has taken an interest in wildlife, especially birds. Good for her I say.
Life is so much more rewarding when you let nature in.

Probably the most entertaining and infuriating member we've ever had.

Even better, I just spotted this on Jason Herbert's Twitter - he's become one of those cardboard cut-out football fans;
