Thanks folks for sorting the pictures--What did I do wrong?

Laxie. Thanks for the offer. Would it be possible for you to measure the wheels diameter? Did it originaly have rubber tyres? I supose it must have. Anyhow is there a groove to take the belt? Thats what matters.

Thanks again
Tom

Hiya Tom,

Will have Himself bring it down from the attic this evening to measure.  Here's an old photo of it.

It's been sitting in the attic for ages because we have no room to display it in our wee house.

Regards,

Dawn

Thanks Laxie but unfortunatly it looks a bit too small. Anyway it would be a shame to break up that pram just for a wheel. It looks to be a good age and as such might be worth a bob or two. If I were you I'd put it on eBay and let 'em bid for it.

Can anybody tell me what went wrong with my picture posting please?

Tom

The picture was taken about 30 years ago and the pram was old then.  When I was growing up, my step-mother refused to purchase new toys for us.  She always insisted on either making them or buying from antiques auctions.  She always said we would appreciate them more.  Never quite understood what she meant when we were younger, but we made the best of it despite being considered odd by the rest of the children in the area.

I still have some of those toys.  Many years later, I finally 'get' what she was saying.  The pram just happens to be the largest of the lot and we truly have no room to display it properly in our house, but I don't have the heart to sell it either.  Only a few people I would offer all or part of it to, but as Red's Dad, you definitely make the list.  If it's wheels are too small for what you need, it will have to bide it's time for another while.  Until then, it's home is in the attic.

Today I cut a tree down for a friend of mine. I was up the ladder fixing a guide rope when I got the feeling that someone was watching me, I turned around to find this chap giving me the once over.

I couldn't believe it, it's the 2nd of October and he's not fledged yet. What's his idea ffs?

There are two "Proper" Books. "A Wandering of Gypsies" Which is basically the story before my mam and dad married, and "Wandering Together" the story after.

The "Finches" book was just a small volume aimed at younger school children.

Correct, it's a pigeon. I can't believe there are any more fledglings as lazy as him. Fancy hatching at the end of September. Cut away with confidence I say.

Why thank you kind sir. Perhaps you might also be impressed by my automatic-gas-bottle-valve. When one bottle is empty, it switches to the full one, thereby saving Mrs Red from rupturing herself changing bottles while I'm in Vegas.
