Colombiana

Good film with enough action most of the time and Zoe Saldana is gorgeous in it.

Bad teacher. Cameron Diaz is amazing.

Absolutely brilliant film.

Diaz is filth, but thought the film was borderline awful

Michael  Madsen too

I left him off the list as he's on CBB so assumed his career has died. but yeah, he has done loads since

that tarantino bloke's not done too badly either

Madsen is in CBB for the right reasons imo, pure curiosity and life-experience recommendation from his awesome buddy Vinnie Jones. Just sigh at the 'Resevoir Dogs' comment previously. Great, great film.

Madsen turned down Travolta's role in Pulp Fiction. Would've been a different film with him in it but probably at least as good.

Also, what's going on this January? Usually the best month of the year at the cinema but so far it's been pretty shite.

Mission Impossible 4 was good, one of the best of that type
Iron Lady was ok, mainly for the Streep performance
Girl with dragon tattoo excellent

Sherlock Holmes was horrendous, thouh I am the only one who thinks that. I find Downey Junior unwatchable

Looking forward to Warhorse immensely
Also looking forward to Shame too
Might drag myself to the Artist too

Both the Sherlock films that Downey is in are plain awful. Why they seem determined to alter one of the best characters ever invented and change him into some kind of 19th century super hero is beyond me, at times it was like watching Iron man but without the outfits.

don't agree with that at all, i think they are quite nicely put together and defo have good special effects etc as well. first is better than the second, but both v watchable.

Phil, I love you. In a manly forum writing way

Downey Jnr in these is an overacting ham, with a daft accent and terrible affectations. I also blame Guy Ritchie.

Give me Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock any day

Im feeling the love Rich, yes Guy Ritchie has a lot to answer for. If you want to make a super hero style film then create a super hero. Why take one of the best characters and turn him into something he wasn't?

Mission Impossible was more than pleasing. GWTDT was OK for a first-date movie. Can't work up any enthusiasm for The Iron Lady.

Funny old game, I won't watch the Barratt Holmes films because Jude Law is in them. Will NOT watch any film with him in. Ever. Conversely, RDJ in Iron Man? Different gravy.

Bring on The Artist imo.

I'm not too keen on Jude Law either, nothing to do with acting just that he's shagged Sienna.
