Paul Bellamy is 'just another victim' for Ali Mallu who's stack continues to head towards that magic 100,000 mark. I didn't see how it happened, but when the cards were on their backs, it was Paul who had his nose slightly in front with versus Ali's . The three clubs was safe, but the turn wasn't, and by the Two Diamonds river Ali had inscribed yet another notch on his poker bedpost.

20 remain.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

And Andy Greekfish, is a lucky, lucky boy.

David Paul limped for 1k with about a 30k stack. Mallu limped, as did another player and the small blind made up.

During this Greekfish gave a bit of banter about how he was going to move all-in and how no-one would be able to call... He then looked at his cards and immediately moved all-in for 35k. David Paul thought for about five seconds before calling and the others got out of the way.

"Oh no, I'm in bad shape here, you've got me, I'm in real trouble..." said a nervous Andy flipping . Amazingly Paul had called off his 30k with . But fate is a fickle mistress and the board came out and a slightly embarrassed Greekfish was left with a big pot but a red face, a sacrifice most would be willing to take at this point.

This left us with two tables meaning we've finished for the night. See you tomorrow!

Paul Gourlay raises it up to 2,500 from the cut-off only for Stephen Montgomery to push all in from the big blind for 10,500 more.

"I went out of the DTD comp with this hand," claims Paul, looking increasingly like he is verging on the fold.

"Will you show if I fold?" he asks, almost confirming that he will indeed release his hand.

His opponent doesn't respond, and Paul passes face up.

Stephen proudly throws onto the felt, much to Rocketman's chagrin.

I think this hand has a little history, simply because Paul Gourlay lost a huge pot in the £500 deepstack close to the final where he button raised with A-Q and called virtually all-in against a big blind shove who actually had A-K. Perhaps he felt he could find a better spot.

Maybe its just because he is clueless?

Thanks Flushy for the concise imput. Wink

As soon as I read Snoops post, I immediately thought of that hand which cost Paul most of his stack at the DTD final. I don't know any of the table situation so I think I'm going to remain neutral.  Lips Sealed

Short handed its 400-800 yes? And a guy re-shoves for less than 20BB to a LP raise with running antes, i can't work out how AQ is a pass.
