No way best of both is acceptable!
More controversial, get the scrambled back in and ditch the fried eggs!
Lol. Clearly there's no way the fried eggs can disappear. If they go you might as well get rid of the bread and toast because they're redundant without something to dip them in. Going to hit the shops and browse some breads in a bit. I really like the taste of best of both but if the purest demands then the purest gets. Yeah ditch the bread and butter Two slice of toast on the side, one slice of fried on the plate. Toast cut horizontal, fried cut diagonal Do I look like I'm on a f**king diet?!?! Ditching is totally unacceptable. Additions or replacements are fine. I was initially going for 4 toasts but went for 2 + 2 because a few have said that you have to have bread and butter. This is going to be so tough!!

Is it safe to assume that you're not planning on using button mushrooms in a breakfast?
Flat mushrooms, minimum diameter 2inches. Fried in bacon fat, or butter until they soften.
Lose the tomatoes and one lot of egg.
Sausages and bacon sourced carefully is key and that gives you a head start btw
Obviously using those big flat mushrooms and frying them. Is it acceptable to chop them in to smaller pieces or must they remain as nature intended? Tomatoes are gone. I don't like them anyway to be honest but I knew they wouldn't get the vote so put them in knowing I'd be safe. Sausages and bacon as well as the black pudding will be from Bodsworth's award winning butchers. They'll be really tasty but have a small problem in that they won't give much fat back to the pan. Just means I have to use quite a lot of oil which isn't a huge problem. The sausage and bacon will have enough fat content to cook without any added oil surely? I slice my mushrooms quite thick. It means they cook quicker and don't soak up a gruesome amount of the fat. Quick sprinkle of salt and some butter/extra virgin olive oil/ both. Eggs fried in butter ftw. That's butter, not any substitute that claims to be indistinguishable from the true dairy product. Bread is a huge issue BofB isn't bad per se but the recommendation for sour dough bread is sound from a taste perspective if a little non-traditional for the purists I suspect. Anticipation is high for this. You strike me as the sort of guy who doesn't do things by half. The list of ingredients alone has my mouth watering and I'm sure I'm not alone in waiting impatiently for the pictures and the reviews.

I'm slightly worried about building this up too much to be honest.
I've never cooked anything in my life so it could go horribly wrong.
How do you fry an egg?

Nice thick slice of sourdough. Toasts really well, not even remotely comparable to a sliced loaf.
You'll be lobbying for grits next

Might just make 12 different breakfasts to make sure I've got everything covered. I guarantee there won't be liver on any of them though. WTF was that about?

I know this has no business on this thread, but I thought in the interest of diversity, I'd add my favorite breakfast.. The Paratha, which is a stuffed flat bread, so popular in India that they have whole streets dedicated to making different varieties of them.. My favorite fillings are Aloo (spicy potatoes) or Gobi (spicy cauliflower) Here's a video for you all..
