And I agree about the sausages as well, but she was cooking 20 of them so that's where the mitigating circumstance of not getting them all perfectly browned all the way round comes in.
Your application for mitigating circumstances has been considered. It is known that certain allowances can be made when catering for more than four people due to the logistical difficulties of getting everything served simultaneously.
However, it has come to our attention that in the shot of your fry-up picture, there are two other plates. One of them finished and one half finished. This leads the panel to believe that the fry-up was ready at different times for different people, and so it is with regret that we cannot accept your claim for mitigating circumstances.
You will therefore not get the points back where Mr. Shephard penalised you for undercooked sausages.

Good observational skills - I accept that my mitigating circumstances are now no longer valid.
I shall be passing the feedback to my Mother and the next time she invites me, my sister and brother in law (or any other likely combination) for a fry up for tea I will be expecting her to do much better.
If she fails twice I might have to consider disowning her.

I'm merely throwing the question out there on peoples opinions, not answering my own question.

A fry up is a legitimate meal for breakfast, brunch, lunch, Tea, supper ... or if you are hardcore, any combination of the above.
To suggest that a fry up should only be eaten at breakfast is quite frankly abhorrent, any further such suggestions will be met with an immediate ban with no hope for parole.

This, totally. Post of the Millenium.
In my former days there was nothing wrong with a fry-up as a between meal snack. Maybe that explains a few things!

A little harsh perhaps, but the panel would understand.

OK, attempt # 2. Pick the bones out of this.
The tinned tomatoes are a must, by the way, it satisfies my required fruit intake.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
