The action goes cautiously on the river of a Two Diamonds board with Ian Woodley deciding to check behind with which is good because 'River' Dave Penly wasn't going anywhere with . I think Woodley checked because Dave was going to shoot laser beams from his eyes at Woodley if the latter made anysort of bet.

Marc Goodwin has picked up an impressively chunky pot for this early in the day and sitting at a table with no Rumits at it.

With around 500 in the pot by the flop, he bet 500 and both Ian Woodley and an unnamed limper folded. Henry Browne, however, a Luton regular and online qualifier for this, called.

The turn was the three diamonds and Browne checked. Goodwin announced 1k and Browne insta-called. With the 1k chip still in his hand, hovering over the felt, Goodwin said, "Can I put mine in first? I take it you're calling anything on the river."

Browne once more checked the river and this time Goodwin bet 2k. As quickly as he called the bet on the turn, Browne passed. "Whew, thank God for that," said Goodwin and showed for the busted flush draw.

Joy, he folded!

Attention Cristianians!

Photo of Mr Blanco coming up soon, if the photos ever upload to the server on my crappy dongle connection. Patience is a virtue, apparently.

Ian Woodley, out of earshot of Dave Colclough and blissfully unuaware that I am writing this down for reporting purposes:

"Oh my God look at Dave Colclough, he looks like death warmed up. Mind you he always looks like that, but he looks worse today."

At full volume, to Dave Colclough:

"Alright Dave, fancy a fry up?"

Death warmed up:

Steve Bovis is out, a victim of jacks vs queens.

Snoopy has continued with a good start, taking a chunk of Jerome Bradpiece's stack after both rivered a flush, albeit on a paired board. Snoopy's outdoing Jerome's .

David Anderson has knocked out Daniel Wicks, Kings vs Jacks. People don't seem to be shy in getting their stacks in early today.
