Among those who seem to have benefited from the sugar rush is Jerome "Hibernating Bear" Bradpiece. He has just doubled up, getting it in I believe on the turn of a board holding against Martyn Robinson's . Jerome now up to around 20k and at liberty to resume hibernating, while the unfortunate Robinson is rather short.

Big call from Laurence Houghton looking at a board after Efty Neocleous made a hefty large overbet on the river for Houghton's entire stack. Houghton called and Neocleous quickly folded but the former still had to show his hand. His was good.

Speaking of big calls, David Wells made a sizeable bet on the river of a board, Joe Grech called and Wells flipped a distinctly unpromising , saying after he turned over the cards, "I thought I had 5-4 and had missed!"

Even more bizarrely, Joe Grech mucked. Nice value bet sir.

Update requestaments from the casino staff concerning the below gentleman, Kiem Huynh, incidentally a sufferer of cerebral palsy so they identified him as "the guy in the wheelchair" (easy enough).

Anyway, Mr Huynh is still on around his starting stack. Most recently I saw him bet a mere 200 on a board, and then lay it down when Aaron Smith made it 800 to go.
