Will the real Sam Savile-Barton please stand up?

Yes - because he's OUT

That's a bit harsh, actually, considering his exit hand (he wasn't short stacked by any means).  What happened was this: a little went in preflop against an out of position but very large stacked Keith Littlewood.  But the fireworks came on a flop of xsmallnotaclub.  Check to Savile-Barton, who bet 3,500.  Back to Littlewood who promptly check-raised a Stack of Reds (=20k)  Savile-Barton moved all-in and was called in the blink of an eye, and they were on their backs:

Savile-Barton:
Littlewood:

Turn:
River: bringing the flush and sending Sam Savile-Barton to the rail, and possibly on slight tilt judging from the insta-leave-the-premises.

Littlewood raking in even more chips:

4 or 5 players limp before big blind Mark Stafford shoves for what looks to be over 20k. Paul Rayner calls off his stack of 10k-12k. Everyone else passes.

Stafford:
Rayner:

two hearts ...(On the river Stafford yells, "Get the fuck in there")

Greg Hill has just also busted from this table.

Garinder Purewall has lost a big chunk of his chips on a T-7-3 flop jamming with 9-8 but Jason Wong committed himself with J-T which held.

On the same table, Alan Wilson has been playing poker snakes'n'ladders without the ladders.  This is not the expression of a happy man:

To be fair, his had just been outdrawn by the aip of this guy, Jeff Sharpe:

"Every f**ing time!" he said as he handed over the 11k in chips, displaying what we've all felt at one point or another.  "Yeahyeahyeah take em."

"Nice hand," he said, lying.

Big double up for Rick Trigg. Raise to 1,600 playing a 55k and the small blind called, the only player who had him covered.

The flop was 9-6-2 and his opponent led out for 3k, Rick raised to 10k and his opponent shoved. Rick called with Aces, as you would, and his opponent showed A-9. No more nines on board and the Twiggster is on 110k and the chip leader.

Meanwhile Billy Ngo raises all-in on the turn of a getting Mike Millar to fold, Ngo shows the big drawing .

And here's what you look like when you've just shot into Comfortable Chip Leader Position:

And here's what the biggest stack around looks like (I think Trigg was on a cigarette calm-down break at the time), along with Paul Garnham who doesn't have quite so many despite an earlier double through off Billy Ngo...

And here are the only other two contenders I can really see for the final level leadership:

Dave Penly

As we head into the last level of play for the day, here's a requested player from earlier: Jason Wong.  He's on thirtysomething in chips and just squeezed an utg limper (Billy Ngo) and and utg+1 limper (Thomas Gibson) with an utg+2 raise to 4,200.  Walking the wire, and doing well.  He seems to be well respected player - a couple of railers were liking his chances even with others with a lot more chips.

Rick Trigg raises to 2k from UTG. Paul Garnham calls in the big blind.

Check check.

Check check.

three diamonds

Check, 1,100 from Rick. Call.

Rick quickly mucks, Paul shows a very slowly played J-T.

Next table down and we've lost Neil Blatchly, into Ibrahim Ullah's , the on the flop sealing the deal.
