With Ian taking a rest for a level due to a sore throat, Grosvenor have made a sharp substitute. And what a relacement it is! If only my substitute teacher had looked like this when I was back at senior school I would have never have left the classroom.

Pass to Brian Clarke in the small blind who raises to 130k. Andreas Hoivold sets him in and Clarke quickly calls.

Andreas:
Clarke:

Double up for Clarke to almost 900k...

Last four hands prior to a 15 minute break:

(1) Brian Clarke pushed all in for around 850,000 from the button to pick up the blinds uncontested.

(2) Andreas Hoivold took the blinds with a preflop button raise of 80,000.

(3) Clarke limped from the small blind, Hoivold made it 70,000 more and Clarke called. Clarke check-folded to a bet of 140,000 on a flop.

(4) Hoivold limped from the small blind and Ford checked his option in the big before the two players checked down a , both players seeing their money returned with versus respectively.

Limped pot between Zachary and Brian.

Two Diamonds

Check check

40k from Zachary, Call.

Check check. Brian shows to win.

Andreas raises to 140k from the small blind. Zachary reraises to 400k. All-in. Call.

Andreas:
Zachary:

two hearts two spades

Andreas Hoivold's luck finally runs out. He's out in 3rd place winning £40,900

How did Brian Clarke get HU despite being the short stack all day? I don't think even knows!

On what I believe was the first hand back, Brian Clarke finds himself all in with rags, but he's been caught red handed by Zachary Ford. Has Clarke used up too many of his lives?...

Clarke =

Ford =

Flop =

Clarke rises from his chair

Turn =

The crowd ooh in unison

River =

The crowd erupts and neither player can withhold a smirk.

Zachary Ford chips down Clarke to about 800k.

Ford raises again, Clarke moves in and Ford snap-calls.

Ford:
Clarke:

two hearts

Clarke survives yet again... He's up to 1.6 million against Ford's 1.8 million.

The atmosphere in here is electric!

Brian Clarke announces all-in and after sinking into his seat, Zachary Ford leaps into the air like an epileptic salmon, says "fuck it" and calls.

Ford drops onto the table.

Clarke flips .

The crowd go wild, before chanting for a flush. Sickos!

However, no such occurrence emerges as the board comes blankety blank to chop it up.
